Positive: Lovely, clean modern hotel. Room sizes good. I loved the Bed linen and towels. Good location in the centre of everything, though nothing is far away. The staff were wonderful. Decent breakfast. We enjoyed our stay.

Negative: As with all the local islands the issue around sunbeds on the bikini beaches we found to be a problem. You had to pay $10 a day for hard beds There are no free sunbeds from Althiri, although the hotel staff thought they were free, so it was very confusing. They seemed to be owned by the water sport shed. I’d check with hotels going forward what they offer as we found it an ongoing problem.

Positive: Athiri residence is the ideal location in my opinion if you’re staying in dhiffushi. It gives you the best experience while keeping a minimum cost that anyone can afford. Moreover, the breakfast, room service, staff and cleanliness are all great. Finally, it is on the ideal location making each sunset and sunrise so pretty to watch.
