Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had ages ranging from 8 up to 68. The view and porch were great. The property caretakers were on top of following up with any of our needs. AREA - away from the hustle and bustle of the city and touristy areas which makes for a very relaxing stay. Though further away from where the cruise ships are, there are still plenty of things to experience in the area and nearby. Close to many beaches, though the Atlantic side is wavier than the Caribbean side. One beach is a 5 minute walk and another a 15 minute walk with many a short drive. The locals were very friendly and welcoming HOUSE - plenty of room for all 11 of us with room for a few more if needed. The house was clean and comfortable. There are 5 bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. Three of the bedrooms are upstairs in the house and two of the bedrooms have their own entrances downstairs which was ok for us because our kids were older, but if they were younger, it might be a concern. Bedrooms all had A/C, but living areas did not. That was not a problem as the breeze from the ocean and the ceiling fans kept things comfortable. The pool and deck area are amazing. TRANSPORTATION - We have visited the island many times, but have never driven our own vehicle. This time we rented a couple vehicles for our group. Driving on the island is an adventure, but doable. Overall an excellent trip on a great island at a great house.
