Positive: Off the beaten track, on the edge of the village overlooking the countryside. The bunker itself is unique. Exceptionally quiet at night.

Positive: Communication was excellent, as was reception from Fabien. The experience staying in a bunker was great and Fabien and his wife have done an excellent job bringing comfort to the bunker.
Negative: Booking.com provided false information. Breakfast was included and was excellent and fresh!
Summary: A highlight for us and a must for anyone visiting the area!

Positive: We spent the weekend in an old bunker—solid, restored, and full of history. Outside, it looked like a quiet farm in a tiny village in France; inside, it felt like a living museum. By the kitchen window, spent shell casings sat in a glass case, tucked just behind the teapot. A rusty combat helmet lay on the lawn, weathered by time. Barbed wire still lined the window—a silent reminder of the past. The place was calm, almost cocoon-like, but every corner spoke of history. I’m a history buff, and I was completely in my element. The hosts were welcoming, serving breakfast before we left. We said our goodbyes, already knowing—we’d be back.
