Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The room was fine, and clean but the bath towels could do with being replaced (very thin). The hair conditioning was not very efficient. Breakfast was ok though the coffee wasn't very hot. The breakfast food on offer was good though. The view from the pool is lovely but we didn't use the pool so I can't comment on this.

Negative: The lady who was in charge (I don't know her name) was not welcoming when we arrived quite late in the evening. I had messaged well in advance to explain our late arrival (due to time of ferry) but she just showed me the room and told me about breakfast times and left. No attempt was ever made to connect with me or my husband during our stay. We like to get to know the people who run the Airbnb / villa when we go away but she wasn't interested though she spoke with other guests and was friendly towards them. She told us as we were leaving that she didn't like the fact we had used Booking.com as she received less money for our stay that way.

Positive: Dinner was superb as was the breakfast provided. Enjoyed the homemade preserves and cake which were served with breakfast. The dinner was reasonable and gourmet. The food was simply excellent!
