Positive: Sebastien is the perfect manager and host. He provided excellent on-the-ground assistance when the airline lost my luggage. His tips and information regarding travel in Mauritania were incredibly helpful and valuable for both me and my 16-year-old son. He is the best person to contact upon arriving in Nouakchott before heading into Mauritania's desert regions.

Positive: Very nice, cozy building, interior design and garden space.

Negative: Mosquitos and only one bathroom with no toilet paper (though they do warn about it). Safe boxes would have been nice.

Positive: This wonderful "oasis" in the middle of Nouakchott, with an excellent restaurant on site, provided a very convenient, relaxing, and enjoyable base from which we could explore a bit of Mauritania. The shaded garden is full of greenery and flowers, the large double room with private bathroom we had booked was spacious and clean, and the free continental breakfast was just perfect. Sébastien, the owner, took very good care of us, and we loved his restaurant which served up some amazing food. Merci, Sébastien!

Negative: Perhaps some hooks for hanging up clothes and/or a couple of chairs in the room would also be useful?
