4 Bedroom House in Chatham

Due to a cancellation, we currently have summer weeks available in August 2023!
Inquire now to enjoy the beautiful countryside, tour the many cultural destinations of the Hudson River Valley and the Berkshires, and hike in the scenic countryside. This is an all season home which abounds with nearby things to do! But you might just want to stay home on the spacious 10 acre property enjoying the pool, the jacuzzi and the beautiful grounds!
There is a wonderful, fully equipped kitchen complete with cookbooks, condiments and a private chef, if desired! There are 3 lovely sitting rooms, premium cable, high speed fiber optic internet and large dining room. There are 4 well appointed bedrooms with queen beds, twins and 3.5 baths. There is a heated, large in ground pool, jacuzzi and a pond on the property. The house is located off a scenic country road on10 beautiful acres with views. The property is located in an area which includes farms, wineries, close to lakes and skiing. The Belafonte estate is on the same block.
There is a full house, pool and hot tub generator to protect from winter and summer area power outages, if they occur. We have a Peloton bike, so bring your workout shoes!
Upon agreement with the chef with a separate, direct payment to her, she will create a menu based on availability, seasonality and for your personal tastes. Meals are prepared on site or can be "mini" catered. Glowing reviews have been received by our guests!
How about a private cooking class as a fun group event or a family activity? Lessons are hands-on, one on one or in small groups, creating delicious dishes to be enjoyed by you and your guests.

Summary: My family of four absolutely loved our stay! The property was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the host could not have been more attentive or generous. The grounds and pool were spectacular. I highly recommend this home. We are already looking forward to booking another stay!

Summary: We had such a great time here. The property is beautiful, with all of the amenities you could want. We fell in love with the area - mornings at Bartlett House and the best coffee and pastries you can imagine, dinners in Hudson or Great Barrington or Pine Plains or right in town in Chatham, and days hiking or visiting mass moca or just playing in the pool and taking long walks on the property and down the country roads nearby. We stayed for three weeks and were so sad to leave! Thanks to Julie, the manager, for taking such good care of us during our stay. She made it so easy to drop in and feel right at home.

Summary: We had a great two-week summer vacation at this country home. Amenities abound, the property manager was very attentive, pool/patio/porch were great outdoor spaces. We loved it!

Summary: Our family (including 2 adults sons, one girlfriend and beloved grand-dog) thoroughly enjoyed our weeklong stay. The house and property were exactly as described and then some! Julie, the house manager was very responsive at all times. We took advantage of every nook and cranny but especially loved the sun room. The kitchen and food pantry was stocked with everything you could possibly need. We also took advantage of the amazing grill/smoker on the patio. The pool was lovely and an ideal fenced in spot for our grand-dog to sleep the day away. When not relaxing at the house, we very much enjoyed exploring the area (Chatham, Hudson, Stockbridge, Lenox, Tanglewood) by car and bicycle. This house was a great find and we hope to return next summer!

Summary: This is a well maintained and cared for home and property that has lots of perks no matter what time of year. Snuggled between the Berkshires and the Catskill mountains, plenty of things to do, places to go or just kick back in the hot tub and enjoy the quiet and peaceful countryside.

Summary: We had the most fabulous 2 weeks at this property. This place truly felt like home and Donald and Julie went out of their way to make our stay the most enjoyable experience (including Julie’s cooking - definitely recommend!!). I’ve never had a rental property that is so well stocked and organised, anything we needed in the kitchen was there, and there were spares for anything that ran out (eg bbq gas). The location is amazing, the house is amazing, the grounds are amazing (and meticulous!).

Summary: We have just finished an amazing three weeks at this wonderful home, and highly recommend it. During the day, we were able to go for runs on quiet country roads, cross-country ski a loop around the property, and take long walks with our dog. At night, we could all curl up by the fire and play games. We also were able to get groceries at two different organic stores - one within 5 minutes, and the other within 15 minutes. And, there is great take-out food in Chatham. The host and property manager were wonderful as well.
