Summary: The room was comfortable and the staff was friendly. Wish i had a room on one of the upper floors so i could enjoy the balcony. But i didn't think to make that request when i booked the room.

Summary: The bed was comfortable. The shower pressure was fine. The room phone didn’t work. The room was pretty bare bones. No ironing board or iron. What really made this stay so poor was the fact that my room wasn’t prepared for check-in until almost 6 PM. The girl at the front-desk said they were understaffed. Why book to a capacity you cannot accommodate?? I missed an event I had driven four hours to attempt and attend. I slept OK, noise wasn’t an issue and I was able to get myself clean. But maybe I’ve learned my lesson this time and need to exercise extreme caution when considering a stay at a small boutique hotel. Aura will not see me again.

Summary: Comfortable bed, nice that there are only 5 or so rooms per floor. Liked the apartment-ish vibe with the microwave, mini-fridge, and sink. It was easier to keep groceries and cut down on the cost of eating out. Definitely worse for wear in some areas (peeling paint, stained/dented walls) but overall a safe, decent place to stay in Bed-Stuy

Summary: I was happily surprised with how big the room was! The hotel is a walk away from the subway but not too crazy of a walk. Brooklyn Navy yard is also pretty walkable! Would stay here again. 9/10!
