Summary: Went to Texas to visit our son. We booked this VRBO thinking it would be the perfect fit for our larger family. It is further out of town than anticipated. Booking and check in was great and well communicated. We were greeted with over-grown shrubs, literally blocking the entrance to the front door. (including bees in them) and the air conditioning not working. It was literally 100 degrees outside (July), so we were all looking forward to getting inside to AC. We called an owner, who told us to call the other. Couldn't reach him, so we called the other one back. They did apologize and sent someone to fix it the next day (slept in the heat). The main bathtub/shower was plugged with inches of standing water, so we couldn't use that shower. We then had 10 of us trying to funnel through ONE shower with broken handle. Not handy, esp when we intentionally book VRBO homes to have multiple bathrooms for this very reason. A plumber eventually came to fix that, but we had inconvenience and crazy in the meantime. There weren't sheets/bedding available for the pull-out beds (which we needed) until calling the owner who gave us the code to the linen closet. The dishes/utensils are NOT stocked for 10 people and most things in the cupboards were comically dirty. Carpet needed to be vacuumed. Wasps by grill, which didn't work (it tripped the breaker). Downstairs bathroom/laundry/dining area smelled of sewer. Smoke detector was hanging from ceiling and beeping. Microwave had no display. :(

Summary: Property was listed to accommodate 10 people; however, the property lacked sheets, blankets, or pillows to accommodate more than 6 people. Trash and food was found under two of the beds when we first got there. Our party ended up having to use bathroom towels as sheets for the first night before we went out and purchased linens and pillows for the remainder of our stay. Owner was not available via phone or email, and messages on VRBO app were not responded to directly. The property seems to be managed by a third party company and their “customer support” replied to any questions sent over the VRBO app via a separate email. They did not provide any resolution and continued to suggest reaching out to the non-responsive owner via phone. Questions about the check-in process went unanswered, but was straightforward and simple. Kitchen, living space, and pool are as advertised. Good neighborhood. If you have a large group for more than a few days be prepared to bring extra pots/pans, cups, plates, paper towels, toilet paper and bath towels. We went through a couple loads of laundry and dishwashing cycles during our stay due to inadequate amounts of these items.

Summary: We rented it to visit family in Austin. It was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is nice, but if you are going to do a lot of cooking be sure and bring your own spices and condiments.

Summary: The owner of home was also available if needed via telephone. The children enjoyed the pool. It was more than enough room & definitely was our home for 4 days.

Summary: Amazing place and area to stay. House is more beautiful and bigger in person than the pictures show. Did not use the pool as water was too cold, but the deck and outside area are great. Only complaint was that there was no extra blankets for the sofabed down stairs, but not an issue overall.
