This rustic and authentic Adirondack lodge has to be seen to be appreciated. Perfect for family getaways. Antiques meld with traditional Adirondack style furnishings to create an eclectic ambiance making it impossible not to relax. The large dining room and kitchen allow for a great entertaining and dining experience for your family and friends. If you love to cook, you will enjoy the experience of cooking here. Reasons to stay here are numerous. 4 bedrooms on the main floor each have their own bath, one bedroom has a queen and a set of bunk beds, the other 3 bedrooms have double beds. Upstairs loft area has built in bunks in each room (great for kids not adults). One set of bed linens and bath towels are provided for each bedroom on the main floor. Tenants using loft area should bring sleeping bags or bed linens and towels.
Please respect the quiet hours of 10 PM to 8 AM. Maximum adult guests 10. Children welcome. Must be 25 to rent. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended in the winter months. Max of 6 cars on property.

Summary: We loved this place for our ski trip to Gore. Very rustic, feels like an old hunting lodge. We had 2 families with 5 kids (7-14yo). Plenty of space for them, games, etc. Everything you need to cook big meals. The dining room table will literally seat 25 people. Not a ton of local food options so your best bet is to bring your own and cook (pricechopper when you get off the main highway, or in North Creek near Gore is a grocery store too). Feels like a home, not just a rental. would definitely go again…

Summary: We had an enjoyable stay. Furniture was dated. You sank deeply into all couches and chairs. Very convenient for all bedrooms to have their own bathroom/shower. We enjoyed the large dining table. The whole place could benefit from a modernization.

Summary: This was our second ski week at the Lodge and we will be coming back again! Diana was available to answer a few questions we had. The wifi/internet was upgraded from our stay last year and the young ones were able to stream movies and unfortunately a few if us had some work to do so it was great! The house is well equipped with everything needed for a memorable Gore ski week!

Summary: It was good stay and the place was secluded and cozy. We just wish the thermostat wasnt locked as it was cold the first night but when reported, it was quickly fixed. House had everything required for a long stay and we really enjoyed out time.

Summary: The property was itself well put together and had plenty of space to relax and enjoy ourselves. There was a small issue of the stove/griddle area being al older type of machine which had a constant flame and slight smell of gasoline that was troubling at first. The main issue however was that the house had no working wifi and was remote enough for us to not have any cell service. We called the property owner and the 1800 number for the wifi company but after saying it was fixed it only functioned for an hour before going back to being dead. The phones would say they were connected but nothing that used internet could be utilized. This made it so that we had to drive into the nearby town to get directions, make plans, and communicate with others.

Summary: This was a great place to host our family reunion. We had10 adults, two children and an infant. We loved the huge common rooms which allowed us to spread out when we wanted to, we loved the large dining room table, great for a family meal. Our chefs enjoyed the large and well stocked kitchen. We took full advantage of the spacious yard, the fire pit and the pool table. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Summary: Stayed at Buckskin Valley Lodge for a long weekend with some family and friends to ski at Gore Mountain. Gore was about 20 minutes away by back roads. The house was in a small town in the mountains and secluded. The house worked out perfectly for our group of four couples and two kids. The fireplaces were nice to warm you up after a long day of skiing and tons of space to hang as a group or to be able to separate to get some alone time. The house is older but has tons of charm. The pool table that even turned into a ping pong table was fun for our group. We would definatly stay again.
