You could start the day with a delicious breakfast in the Forn Nou Bar almost next door, then grab your gear and the car and head to one of the fantastic beaches only a 10 minute drive away. After enjoying a relaxing day on the beach maybe snorkeling in the beautiful turqoise mediteranean sea. ( with the gear supplied ) you'll be glad to return to a cool house and an apertif on the patio.
After a siesta you'll be ready to stroll into town full of shops and excelent bars and restaurants the choice is unlimited and very international. To finish the day there is nothing better than a relaxing nightcap sat on the patio gazing at the stars.
Tuesday is market day in Arta, the best on the island, where you'll find everything from food, clothes and handcrafts.

Summary: Tucked away in a beautiful, historic town, you get a real feel for Mallorca in this historic home. The pictures don’t do it justice as a clean, spacious home with great character. A lovely back porch with a lemon tree and bbq. You need a car to get around the island, but if you are fine without AC (we survived in the middle of a heat wave), you will enjoy this gem. Our hosts were responsive and kind. 5 star recommendation.

Summary: We knew Arta from many visits to the market from the coast, but never thought of staying there. Jayne and Miguel have a stunning house that can easily sleep 4-6 people with beautiful decor and great facilities. To be honest you are spoilt with a lovely courtyard for Al fresco dining underneath your own lemon tree, after using the outside shower to wash away the day. You have two gorgeous terraces on the 1st and 2nd floor for a bit of sunbathing or stargazing depending on your want. The property is a 5 minute stroll from the main square in Arta, so breakfast, lunch or dinner are around the corner or just stroll around some lovely shops. Jayne and Miguel have created an absolute gem and are the perfect hosts. We will return.

Summary: Located in the center of Arta in a quiet neighborhood, the house is perfectly located to reach restaurants and shops conveniently by foot. The house is nicely decorated, the kitchen well equipped and all bedrooms are comfortable. Our highlight, besides the very friendly and warm hosts: the outdoor shower next to the lemon tree. We would have loved to stay much longer.
