Positive: So quirky and beautiful it was a real treat to find it. It’s a little flatlet rather than a room, with kitchen facilities too. Christine, the hostess, is perfectly charming and really interesting to chat to. Her breakfast was one of the best we’ve had - everything done so beautifully with attention to detail. The house itself is rural and quite a way from other properties which some might not like but we did. Christine’s garden is gorgeous and so relaxing and there is indeed bird song all around. Thank you Christine for all the wonderful effort you have put in to this magical place.
Negative: Nothing! Some might find it too isolating however.
Summary: The most peaceful and quirky, delightful retreat. A perfect way to break a long journey.

Positive: Everything. It is such a lovely place in a forest on the hill of the foxes. Beautiful cosy house. Lovely accomodation, entrance hall, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. All beautiful and very interesting decor. Christine is the most amazing and generous host. Our welcome was so heart warming. We felt we were honoured guests. Christine also cooked a three course meal for us(on request) that was absolutetly excellent. Really flavoursome and well cooked food. Breakfast was a perfect selection of breads and croissants, home made jams and honey from Christines own hives. Also, cheese, fruits, yoghurt and more. And loved very much the special ki-wi dish too. The house is in the forest and the night sky so very beautiful. Could hear owls outside too.
Negative: We loved it all. Nothing at all to dislike.
Summary: A story-book setting in a glorious forest, a delight in every way.

Positive: We had the pleasure of staying at Christine's charming property, and she truly went above and beyond as a host. From the warm welcome with champagne to the lovely conversation, we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was a highlight—generous, delicious, and featuring lots of homemade treats like Christine's incredible jams. While we stayed during winter and couldn’t fully appreciate the garden, it’s clear that it must be stunning in spring and summer. We can’t wait to return during the warmer months to enjoy it to the fullest. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by great hospitality and attention to detail, Christine’s place is absolutely perfect!
Negative: Everything was lovely
Summary: Wonderful stay with a truly exceptional host

Breakfast was a standout, offering a unique and delicious spread, including homemade marmalade made from fruits grown right in the garden. I highly recommend this stay for anyone seeking a charming and personalized experience.
Negative: At times, Google Maps can lead you to the wrong location, but the host was well aware of this and proactively provided us with clear, detailed directions ahead of time. This thoughtful gesture ensured we had a smooth and stress-free arrival.
