Positive: I loved the location, the bedroom decoration, the comfortable bed, the view of the trees, the great food at the restaurant, the very good breakfast, the beautiful terrace, the very nice swimming pool and sauna, the sympathy and professionalism of the staff.
Negative: The room was too hot and it had no shades. The closet had only 2 hangers and no place to hang them. They offered the option of half a dessert and charged almost a full dessert.
Summary: Excellent stay in general

Positive: The restaurant was good in the evening but the breakfast was average to ordinary
Negative: The staff were indifferent to us - basically the staff are right and the guests are wrong - particularly the ginger haired waiter. He just shrugged his shoulders and disclaimed the information on Booking.com saying we should only use his website (I wonder how many reservations they get through Booking.com v their website?). There is NO electric vehicle charging station as listed on Booking.com - we picked the hotel as we wanted to charge). The swimming pool and spa area are only available for private reservations so we could not use. The hotel is more like a hostel - the bathroom door does not close as it was swollen, and the furniture is basic. The hotel did not answer our pre-arrival message requests and finally they gave us the wrong room. Overall disappointing.
Summary: Staff need training and facilities are ordinary

Positive: Very comfortable bed and an exceptionally clean room. The restaurant at the hotel served delicious food. The sauna at the hotel was also very relaxing!

Positive: We had their biggest family room. It was quite simple considering the price we paid but that is something we expected from the pictures in their website. They have little nice touches like sensors for the lights and the beds are comfortable, the batroom modern and everything is clean. Breakfast is quite good, with the possibility to order eggs and bacon on the spot, which is a very nice extra. And the pool, although a bit worn out, is enjoyable, especially the possibility to book private sessions. All in all, too expensive for what you get but what absolutely made the difference and left us with a very good impression was the staff. They were all lovely, really helpful and very efficient. All of them!
Negative: What I didnโ€™t like as much was that there is no lift and I wasnโ€™t aware of it. Maybe my fault for not informing nyself properly but we had to go two floors up with our suitcases on arrival and cross the restaurant with them. Worth noting if one travels with heavy suitcases, babies, or any physical limitation. I also didnโ€™t like that the balcony (i.e. the main window for airing and getting light in) of our quite expensive room was, due to the characteristics of the bulding and terrain, right at level with a back street, where people walk by, park their cars etc. itโ€™s just a secondary road but enough for me not to want to open the curtain most of the time. The other side was more private: right under the roof the wondows are smaller and that side, being the front of the property, was a second floor.
Summary: The staff, absolutely wonderful. The place, a bit overpriced
