Positive: The apartment was really spacious and had a lovely authentic Parisian feel. The location was great and easy to get to other parts of Paris. The cleaner who met me to hand over the keys was very friendly.
Negative: Sadly, my interaction with the host felt unprofessional. It was difficult to get hold of them using the number provided, and there were no clear instructions on how to access the apartment - we only got in because the cleaner was still cleaning when we arrived. The bedding and towels were still being washed at 4.30pm despite check-in being before this. Once inside at 4pm, my friends and I played some music for about 45 minutes between 5.15–6pm while getting ready for dinner — it was at a level where we could still talk over it. Shortly after leaving, I received an alarming message saying, “What is happening in my apartment!!!!”, followed by threats that the police had been called due to noise. I offered to call and resolve things, but this was ignored. Instead, I received another message saying, “You can do whatever you want, just don’t be surprised if the police show up and take you away…” It felt completely disproportionate and caused real worry among our group — especially as one of us is pregnant. I’ve never been threatened with police action by a host, particularly not for playing music for 45 minutes in the early evening. Also not clear instructions for departure - messaged to ask and got no response. POOR POOR HOST! Don't stay here if you want a friendly, helpful host that doesn't threaten you!

Positive: Lots of space! Great location, easy access to public transportation, and authentic Parisian feel!
Negative: Little things that Americans are used to you have to bring yourself, think Shampoo, conditioner and soap. Any paper goods like napkins or paper towels if you plan on eating in at all. They give a limited amount of toilet paper.
