Positive: In the heart of the old town. Monika, the owner, is lovely and was in touch with everything we needed. Very modern and comfortable apartment next to the Castle and church. Also had GHD hair dryer which was amazing to use! Lots of good restaurants and bars nearby. Fabulous roof terrace with great views. Wished we could have stayed longer.
Negative: Nothing to do with the property there were several wild fires at the time so air quality was extremely poor. It didn’t stop us enjoying our stay but was glad to get to the northern coast.
Summary: Modern, comfortable apartment right in the heart of the old town. Highly recommended a stay here!

Positive: Amazing property. Great design, everything well thought out and comfortable. Bed was awesome, shower was awesome, kitchen was usable. Left a lovely fruit bowl. Location was exceptional, especially from the rooftop patio overlooking the castle and cathedral.
Negative: Minor: laundry was in the lower level and a little awkward to access. And a little suggestion to leave some salt and pepper (and olive oil?!?) in the suite would just take it up to the next level. When you are cooking maybe one meal, having to buy these things is such a waste.
Summary: Perfection! Highly recommend!

Negative: It was so hot in Ponferrada that I could only use the terrace for a few minutes before having to return to my air conditioned room.

Positive: Helpful owner, clean room, comfy bed, early check-in, good location. Housekeeping stuff did a great job to clean our room, to change our linen on the 2nd day, and to fill the coffee/other consumable, thus made our stay (2 nights) very pleasant. We are fully energized to walk “Camino”.
Negative: Washer & dryer and terrace are both shared with other guests, which are not indicated on Booking.com, so it should be clearly mentioned. Basic condiment such as olive oil, salt and pepper should be equipped with the kitchen as we had to buy everything in order to cook. More kitchen tools (bowl, whisk, etc.) would be helpful.
Summary: Very nice property, a little improvement in the equipment will make it more attractive.

Positive: From the moment we arrived..hot and sweaty we were delighted with our stay at the Suites. Our hostess was there at the front of the building to show us the digital keypad to enter from the street. She was so helpful. She even sent us a Video showing what the exterior of our building looked like. There was fresh fruit left for us as well as fresh squeezed Orange Juice. In the freezer was a whole unopened bag of ice.. Little things like this show that Monica was a very thoughtful person. After showing us the apartment Monica took us up to the 4th floor where ther are places to sit and sunbathe , tables to eat, or play cards..We went up to watch the Sunset and to see the view. A very special place..even had a bathroom! . After the temperature cooled off we wandered through Ponferrada. The apartment is located near one of the towns square.. Children playing, while their parents were having a drink and chatting. The old Town is enchanting and the Templars Castle is stunning. We were only there 1 night which was a shame because we did not get to explore as much as we wanted to..We will be back! .
Negative: Not a thing. There is no immediate parking.but plenty of parking on off streets. Monica sent us a list of places to park nearby.
