Summary: Room: My room was clean and modern with a decent balcony attached. Some form of shade/covering on the balcony would have been good Property grounds: Property grounds were decent. Grass and hedges were well maintained and people were constantly mopping floors. However some areas outside are probably in need of painting/maintenance. Amenities: Not many amenities that typical all-inclusives at this price point would have. Would be nice if they had a beach bar, also some of the pool bars were not staffed at certain points of the day. Service: Staff was polite and friendly for the most part with the odd person having some attitude. I think this was due to the fact though that they were clearly understaffed putting the staff who were there under stress. Pools and Beach: Didn't really spend much time in any of the pools as the main pool was quite a ways from my room. The beach was pristine as it is Negril, so nothing the hotel has to really do there. There were alot of beach chairs and umbrellas for guests. Food: The main reason why I am reviewing this place so poorly is the food. Food should always be the thing that resorts focus on the most for their guests and I can say that this is some of the worst food I have ever had at a resort. Options were limited, the food tasted terrible (most food was either overcooked, bland or seasoned badly). Food staff were clearly overworked and in need of help. The best food I had the entire time there was the burger, which says alot.

Summary: Everything was great except the food. It had no taste, seasoning or any of the Jamaican flavors. I had all inclusive but took a taxi to eat off of the resort.

Summary: I loved the location, not too far from the airport but far enough to not feel like I’m in a touristy part of town. The resort workers were very nice. The food was good. The furniture and setup are a bit dated but for the price, it was very reasonable. The beaches are beautiful and though we didn’t participate, there are many water activities. We went there to relax and unwind and the resort offered that

Summary: The resort was nice. I love the beach, that was beautiful! I noticed Jamaica beaches do not have umbrellas or enough of them. So bring a hat. It’s to hot and not enough trees to lay under. The room was fine. I’m not picky. It was clean, air conditioned, spacious, bed good. The employees at the lobby, the bars and restaurant (I only ate at the buffet) were very nice. Great night entertainment. It is a quiet resort, I enjoy that with some entertainment at night. I stayed 5 nights. Two days I wanted to just rest in my room. The music was soooo loud I couldn’t hear the tv or my phone. I was near the Hibiscus pool. It was very unnecessarily loud and there was no activity/entertainment those days at the pool. I like being friendly with the other guests and I like to ask how they felt/think about the resort. We all were on the same page about the food and loud music. A lot said the music was very loud for no reason. The food was good but needed flavor/seasoning!! Was not a lot of choice. Very limited. The food was gourmet all the time. If your a gourmet chef or your family member is a gourmet chef, you will love the food. It was too gourmet, all the time, with the food not having flavor.

Summary: Unlike many other resorts the hotel was very close to the beach, which was great. So no matter which room you stayed in you were always a short walk to the beach. The food was authentic and the staff was nice. Overall a very good resort.

Summary: Terrible experience. Majority of restaurants and bars were closed due to “slow season”, which is unacceptable for an all-inclusive resort. Service was slow, rooms were outdated and unclean. Other than some of the staff, it was an awful experience.

Summary: The rooms were outdated and the beds were uncomfortable. The quality of the food was sub par at best. The ocean front beach is gorgeous but sadly, that’s probably the best part of this resort.

Summary: My overlll experience at Azul was average. The staff were friendly and accommodating however food and amenities were lacking. Staff were very friendly and kind. They made the experience pleasant. The property was rated 5 stars however at best I would rate the resort 3 stars. The resort has seen better days on account of dated, worn and/or broken furniture. The linens were dingy and in short supply. The brown beach towels didn’t seem clean. The shower heads were broken and taken a shower felt like enter at your own risk. The bed was comfortable however the pull out coach was challenging to manoeuvre on account of it being flimsy. Staff were very friendly and kind

Summary: The hotel is in a beautiful spot, white sand beaches and plenty of room and chairs. As much as we loved Negril and have been there before the hotel needs a renovation desperately. When we got there the check was smooth. But the rooms were a nightmare. We experienced 3 rooms in one night. Moldy, wet ceiling, bed and stained and cracked sink among other things. The food is not great and they ran out of dishes every night. I have to say the beach and the people working there made the trip worth it.
