Positive: This was one of the highlights of our 14-day trip through Italy. Wilma was an exceptional host — warm, welcoming, and full of insight. Although we arrived late at night intending to go straight to bed, the atmosphere was so inviting that we ended up spending hours in the lovely garden, enjoying wine she generously offered, and chatting with her and the other guests. The room and private bathroom were clean, and the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. In the morning, we shared a joyful breakfast with the group, where the homemade cakes were a special treat we won’t forget. We would be delighted to return one day!

Positive: The house is beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. If you don't like baths and prefer showers, tell the owner ahead of time, but we didn't mind the bath.

Negative: Minor: I would not recommend the bed for someone over 180 cm (6 ft) as it has a hard headboard and footboard, so my partner hit his head twice. More important: Unfortunately, I found some of the conversation in shared spaces quite uncomfortable. The host expressed extreme and offensive views. It was hard work to try to stir the conversation to more neutral topics, and I would have wished not to have to do this on vacation. Others may not mind, but I think it’s important to be aware that this is part of the environment here.
