Positive: Absolutely beautiful B&B 10 mins away from the hustle and bustle of St Emilion. The rooms are absolutely stunning and filled with many thoughtful touches - comfortable beds, AC and fluffy dressing gowns. We had a wonderful evening at Nicole and Kurt’s Table d’Hote - an incredible 5 courses of food and wine pairings, and lovely conversation shared with our hosts and the other guests. We would also recommend a wine tasting with Kurt at a local vineyard - we learned so much and tried some great wines alongside a delicious picnic. We hope to come back soon - to stock up on more wine (and figs!)
Negative: We were a little concerned about the external, shared bathroom before we arrived but it was fine for a short stay - the bathroom is right outside the room and we did not encounter any other guests using it.

Positive: A gorgeous house with a beautiful garden and super friendly and helpful hosts. Tasty breakfast with fresh fruit, pastries, jams, yogurt … The dinner with the other guests was such a nice experience. It was a pleasure to chat with everyone and the food and wine were simply spectacular! It was also super nice we were able to rent bikes to get to St. Emilion in a scenic and convenient way (it takes about 30 minutes to get to the town). All in all, a wonderful place to enjoy St. Emilion!

Positive: We had an amazing stay with Nicole and Kurt. It’s like staying in a luxurious home - the interior is beautiful and each room very unique. We were travelling for then first time with our newborn baby and they bent over backwards to accommodate us. Breakfast was delicious and we highly recommend eating at the hotel during your stay- their home cooked food is restaurant quality.
Negative: Nothing!!

Positive: What a fabulous stay! Kurt and Nicole were such incredibly generous and kind hosts. The meal with wine pairing was quite honestly, mind blowing. Never did we expect the level of gastronomy we received. The decor and atmosphere on the terrace was incredible. Breakfast complete with home made jams was just divine! Stay here is my advice to anyone looking for accommodation in the beautiful area

Positive: Hosts were amazing and really put themselves out. They prepared the evening meal and made sure it was a lovely shared experience. Food, wine and company were all memorable. Swimming pool and garden were also a real plus. We had a really nice sized room, beautifully decorated, although no ensuite. Overall, a great experience and super value for money.

Positive: Our stay at B&B Clos Emilion was nothing short of wonderful. Nicole and Kurt are exceptional hosts, making us feel instantly at home with their warmth and hospitality. The property itself is beautifully designed, offering a perfect mix of comfort, elegance, and spotless cleanliness. The facilities are fantastic, with Kurt’s extensive wine knowledge and impressive collection available for purchase—ideal for any wine lover. The location is also perfect, with vineyards and the river just a short stroll away, offering scenic walks through the stunning countryside. Nearby towns, only a short drive away, provide fantastic dining options, though we were lucky enough to enjoy dinner with Nicole and Kurt on one of our nights. They cooked an incredible meal, and their company made for a truly memorable evening.
Negative: If there was one downside to our stay, it was simply the time of year we visited. Being January, the weather meant we couldn’t make the most of the outdoor facilities, which looked absolutely fantastic. The pool and garden areas are clearly a highlight in the warmer months, and we can only imagine how wonderful it would be to relax there with a glass of wine on a sunny day.
