Summary: Rooms were clean. Products in room smelled nice. Size of bath was fab - could fit in it !Tea/ coffee/ snack provision in room minimal. Breakfast ; underwhelming. Provision minimal and slow to br refilled. The cooked breakfast is adequate but does not include beans !? Did not use bar. Thank you Lucas for your warm welcome upon arrival .

Summary: This is a very pleasant hotel in a great part of town. The West End is close to the station and transport, along with Edinburgh Cathedral and modern art museums, along with the Water of Leith Walkway. The hotel is great value for money and frankly, the only disappointment was the breakfast.

Summary: We had a really lovely 3 night stay in this beautiful building. Helpful, courteous staff throughout our stay. The whole place was spotless, very clean room and bathroom. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Our room was a little bit small but a lovely comfy bed. Loved our trip to Edinburgh.

Summary: Nice staff, rooms and good location. The lighting in the rooms was poor and there were not enough sockets but other than that the hotel was very good.

Summary: Clean, warm, cosy room. Very friendly, helpful staff that go out of their way to ensure the enjoyment and comfort of the guests. Beautiful building with a lovely Georgian library. Fantastic breakfast included in room price and offering a large range of cooked options.

Summary: The library was awesome, worth a vist, the period fixtures and fittings. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. Staff were very friendly.
