Summary: The room was more spacious than I thought. I booked but I did not receive any code or information and I ended up showing up at 1030pm and there was no attendance so I had to call the emergency line to get my code and get my access. It felt a bit weird because they were like I had no information on file. If that was the case then why not deny my booking? Anyways after a phone call, I was given a code and access to my room and in the morning had to show my ID and provide proof of residence within Germany. I booked 2 nights. When I left during the day and came back in the evening the beds were not made, the room was still untouched. Had to ask for fresh towels and fresh sheets and had to make the bed myself. I found that pretty odd. There was a weird scent throughout the whole building. It was quiet however, and I would book again for a quiet little 2 nights getaway

Summary: We had a short stay at the B&B Hotel in Idar-Oberstein and overall a very pleasant experience. The hotel is modern and offers convenient self check-in and check-out without staff being present at all times. We did encounter a small issue during our stay, which I won’t go into here, but we reported it to the reception and it was resolved very quickly within just a few minutes. As a kind gesture, we were also offered a complimentary and generous breakfast buffet. All in all, it is a good hotel with parking available, a quiet atmosphere, and a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Summary: Parking spaces for e-car to load were occupied by people that didnt load their cars / had NO e-car!!!

Summary: Just back from a visit to Idar-Oberstein. Parking was easy, I arrived after 10pm so reception was closed but a staff member was able to quickly get me checked in. Room was perfect for my stay. Hotel is close to the Felsenkirche and castles. The Norma shop is 2 minutes walk away and there are several places to eat in the square.
