Positive: Villa Agnese is a charming bed and breakfast in a beautifully-restored Tuscan villa. Check-in was quick and easy and the staff are wonderful hosts, very welcoming and attentive. The breakfast was exceptional, consisting of buffet of regional specialties with additional short-order options per request. There is a private parking area in the rear and you’re just minutes away from the 16th century walls of Lucca.
Negative: We were very pleased with all aspects of the property and the attentive staff.

Positive: Great location and super friendly staff! Very homely and attentive. The breakfast was excellent. The villa is situated very close to the inner city walls - a 3 min walk. This makes it possible to both explore the inner city as well as take breaks at the villa before heading out again. The villa itself is super clean and the rooms are big. Thw stay was good and part of the entire experience of Lucca.
Negative: The beds could be a bit softer! But nothing too major.
Summary: Authentic, cozy stay with great breakfast and hosts.

Positive: Villa Agnese was perfect for getting around lucca. On the outskirts of the walled city and offering private parking, WiFi and the most attentive and helpful staff. The breakfast was exceptional in choice and freshness and they are happy to keep you fed so don't expect a light breakfast! Very cute place, couldn't have asked for more.
Negative: My bathroom was quite yellow which was fun but I was conscious if I was in the shower the people on the street below could see me as the dipped blinds didn't quite cover it.
Summary: Excellent. One of the most hospitable stays I've had

Positive: Excellent location right by the entrance to Lucca’s old town. Spacious rooms, big bathroom but above all, an incredibly warm and helpful welcome by our hosts. Delicious breakfast with everything (and more) you might wish for. We will definitely come back!
