Summary: This is a basement unit in a larger house. It is a very short walk to the shops and restaurants in the greater Kirkwood vicinity and the neighborhood seems safe. The unit itself is very modest, but it was perfect for me visiting my kids at IU and not spending a ton of time in the room. For a small space, the kitchen is large if that's a consideration. You are below ground so it's dark and the steps down to the unit are pretty steep. The ceiling are very low. When it's just me swinging out to IU for a quick visit, this is a perfect little spot.

Summary: It was exactly what I needed to enjoy my weekend in Bloomington. The apartment is right off the B-Line trail. Very easy for me to walk everywhere I wanted to go.
