Positive: Friendly atmosphere. Exceptionally clean. We were able to take our dog, although the hotel restricts dogs to specific areas in the hotel, but that was fine by us. It’s very close to the seafront.
Negative: There were a few things that could be so easily tidied up: paint the copper piping in the bathroom, extractor fan needed too ; remove the picture hook above the tv instead of painting it over with an incorrect colour. We paid £165 for one night, including one dog and two breakfasts. This was expensive - especially as the Baccus are doing an offer of £199 dinner, B&B for two nights in January!
Summary: Good, clean, friendly hotel but book direct with them!!

Positive: breakfast was a bit disappointing, soft boiled eggs were too hard and toast was a bit hit and miss, one day perfect , next hardly toasted. Coffee machine expresso wasn't hot enough
Negative: shower unit was placed too high up for a 5.5 person to reach or even read the instructions in room 4, the step Infront of entry to shower/toilet wasn't marked sufficiently, needed the actual step to be marked in highlighted warning tape at edge, very dangerous at night, danger of falling up the step.
Summary: Pleasant stay, good atmosphere in busy bar and restaurant, accommodation adequate and staff helpful
