Positive: We love this hotel and were there for the second time, staff is great Monika is lovely, and they have the best breakfast in Norway!!
Negative: Better? absolutely nothing

Positive: Beautiful building that tastefully mixes modern with antique. Fascinating art and antique furniture and beautiful terrace and there is a small sauna and games room. Beach is just over the road and the view is incredible. The hosts and staff were so kind and helpful. Free parking right outside. Great value for money too.
Negative: Nothing to be improved. Perfect. Someone said they miss having a television in the room. Holmsbu is so beautiful that if you're staying in your room to watch television then you're doing it wrong! I didn't even notice there was no TV until someone mentioned it. Fabulous. We will be back.

Positive: We recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally pleasant experience, though there were a few things worth noting. The location is beautiful—one of the highlights of our stay. Sitting out on the terrace was a real treat. Our room was nice and comfortable, though it could have been a bit cleaner. It also felt like it could use some upgrades, as a few things seemed a bit dated. Breakfast was good—nothing extraordinary, but it did the job. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall, everything ran smoothly during our stay.
Negative: We were there on a Saturday night, and unfortunately, there’s a bar very close to the hotel that played extremely loud music until 2:30 AM. It made it really hard to sleep. We later read online that this has been a recurring issue for some time. When we mentioned it to the receptionist at the checkout, she seemed unaware of it, although there seems to be an history related to this issue. If you're planning a weekend stay and are sensitive to noise, this might be something to consider. Otherwise, it’s a lovely spot with a lot of potential.

Positive: We reserved our room on a whim and booked 30 minutes before we arrived. We found out that we were the only overnight guests! It was the middle of winter and this hotel and town is more of a summer place. The lovely lady at the desk upgraded our room. It was clean and decorated nicely. The breakfast was sumptuous. I loved the decor and the vibe of the whole hotel. Very cozy! We're not a big fan of crowds so we really enjoyed being the only guests there! I don't think it's ever happened to us before.
Negative: Nothing that the hotel could have helped. It was raining and the view was gray and quite sad. A drawback of going to a summer seaside town in the middle of winter. A lot of shops were closed too.

Positive: Amazing location - so beautiful We had a door to the outdoors and could swim in the morning right across the street 💕 Kind and welcoming people at hotel and this cute little town
Negative: Not a huge issue, but bathroom floor got quite wet when we showered and had no mat
