Positive: Great stay overall. Friendly, helpful, informative staff. Very nice room, 24hr tea/coffee, clean, comfortable, generator on site for power outages. Most amenities on-site -- e-bike rental, taxi hire, information, etc.

Negative: Booking exchange rate calculator is terrible -- confirm local currency rate before booking or pay in dollars

Positive: Beautiful spot, excellent breakfast, nice pool and wonderful staff. They also have a generator running almost all the time.

Negative: The view from the roof is nice, however the views aren’t of pagodas. They also didn’t have wine.

Positive: The roof terrace is the best asset, but there are no views of the river or stupas. The breakfast is pretty decent, and the people working there, and in the frontdesk are polite and serviceminded. Not so impressed by the room or the bed, or even hotel location. Internet is horrible, but parts of Myanmar struggle with that. Also frequently power outages is common. The Bagan area is amazing to explore, I did it on an electric scooter, and a balloon. Consider if you want to stay in new Bagan or old Bagan is my best tip.
