Positive: Absolutely amazing! The host welcomed us in person, handed over the keys, explained everything we needed to know, and was always helpful via WhatsApp. She was extremely thoughtful and even prepared a small welcome gift for us — complete with a description in our native language. We had never experienced anything like that before, and it was such a beautiful gesture. The view from the balcony was stunning, and the place was completely quiet and peaceful. We don’t know why, but we felt like we were the only tourists in Dosoledo. The entire apartment was spotlessly clean, the beds were super comfortable — we actually slept better than at home. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would love to come back again in the future.
Negative: Nothing serious, but the Wi-Fi speed slowed down — probably because our phones started uploading photos. We ended up using our mobile data instead. During our stay, both Dosoledo and Padola felt like “ghost towns” — those who prefer a livelier atmosphere might be disappointed, but we actually loved the quiet and peaceful vibe. We would have appreciated having a microwave to reheat food, but it wasn’t a big issue.
Summary: Absolutely amazing – we’d give it a 13 out of 10 if we could!

Positive: I can easily say that this was one of the best places I have ever been! The balcony has breathtaking views over the Dolomites and the woods under them. Very close to the little town of Dosoledo and Padola so that it is pretty easy to get groceries or anything you might need. Dosoledo is also very close (if travelling by car) to almost all the major places that you would want to visit in the Dolomites! (Lake Braies, Tre cime di Lavaredo, Lake Sorapis, ecc) The owners are delightful, very friendly and helpful, they even gave us some typical biscuits for our welcome and helped us very quickly when we needed help! :) It is really a great place, I will for sure come back :)

Positive: The apartement was FULLY equiped with a cooking necessities. You would not beleive, but my wife even did bake her own bread - not because of not being able to buy excelent Italian bread, but because of this is her hobby and she enjoys doing it. The appartement name "Balcone sulle Dolomiti" trully expreses it's character. And beside the view to Dolomites, the appartement's view to Dolomiti is enriched with the panorama of Dosoledo. Sunrises, seen from the balcony is unforgetable. The owner and her family were very hospitable, trying to serve all your wishes. When we arrived, we were even greeted in our language (see the photo). And "last and not least" the Dosoledo vilage itself is located in a place, which offers plenty of oportunities. In five days we have crossed many different places. This time our interest was in winter sports (nordic skiing and sledging), next time the summer offers plenty of other chanses. I will gladly return again!
