Positive: A wonderful, charming apartment with a terrace and a fabulous view from the bedroom. It felt as if the owners would be returning any minute. The apartment exudes history and culture. The spirit of history, literature, and art permeates the apartment. Giudecca and its residents once again gave us a piece of Venetian culture. We loved the kitchen; it has everything we needed, and the appliances are excellent. Thank you for the dishwasher and washing machine.

Negative: The terrace. This was an important factor in choosing this apartment. The blooming terrace delighted us in the evenings, but since the powerful automatic watering of the flowers and bushes began at 8:00 a.m. every morning, the entire floor was soon covered in water, and the doormat never dried. Unfortunately, it was impossible to spend pleasant mornings with tea or breakfast on the terrace, as we didn't bring rubber boots. The furniture on the terrace could do with new and more comfortable ones. The smell. The apartment had a sharp, strong odor, reminiscent of mothballs. Perhaps they'd sprinkled it liberally in the enclosed spaces. Ventilation helped a little, but at night we were attacked by mosquitoes, which, as I understand it, use the terrace 24/7 (it's warm and always damp there). The shower room and toilet were very uncomfortable and cramped. Everything was nice and clean, but the entire length of the room was very narrow. It was difficult to even bend over to brush your teeth, let alone take a shower. The bed was hard.
