Positive: We initially did not like the room that we booked and we got upgraded to the a villa room without an extra charge. We were lucky I suppose! The room was fantastic. Closer to the restaurants, spa area and pool.
Negative: The beach. The surge had pushed in a lot of seaweed on the shoreline which did not look that appealing for us to swim in.

Positive: Everything. Staff are amazing!! It is located within walking distance of Bali Collection. Path along the beach provides beautiful walks. The accommodation and grounds are stunning. The restaurants have great food at a very reasonable price. It is a home away from home.

Negative: Their retaurant stops service by 9:30/10:00 p.m. such a lovely location but the beachside was dead. the adjoining resorts were more happenning. & when we asked they were only ready to serve a very limited menu, that too at 9:30 p.m.!!
Summary: great location and breakfst. their Dinner really needs to look up. the place is dead after 7:00 p.m.

Positive: The location is pretty good if U like the beach & want to be in a quieter part of Bali. We enjoyed a sunrise run & it was great
Negative: It was my 2nd visit to this hotel, having been there in June 2023 & overall, it wasn't bad. The staff were exceptional & the food/breakfast was OK, but (1) we were initially put into a room that was right next to the very busy road & the noise throughout the night was unbelievable. We asked to be moved, & the staff accommodated us without issue. So why not just allocate us to that room to start with? The hotel was busy but far from full, so it would have been great to be allocated a decent room from the onset. Additionally, we made the booking 2 months ago, so I can't understand the logic in giving us the noisiest room to start with. (2) There was a problem with the toilet in the room we were moved to - it didn't flush properly. We reported it to reception on our way out to an all-day excursion. When we got back, it looked like they had been in to fix it - but it hadn't been fixed properly & we had to call maintenance again, at almost midnight, to come & unblock the toilet! A very Very awkward situation for us as customers to be in - and completely unacceptable! (3) The very friendly & helpful young man from maintenance who came in to sort out the blockage arrived with just a bucket of some sort - no gloves, no disposable apron, no disposable mask, no PPE of any sort. I'm thinking the hotel could do better in equipping their staff with at least the basics of PPE, especially for a job of this sort ๐Ÿค”

Positive: Beach location, lovely big room, excellent and friendly staff, loads of beach beds but best thing was the 24 hour restaurant which served Indonesian food and booze all day and night. Loved it.
Negative: The rubbish washing up on the beach wasnโ€™t pleasant but obviously not the hotelโ€™s fault and they made huge efforts to clear it daily which was heroic.
