Positive: Nice oasis, near enough to beaches/Tamarindo, and far enough away from the traffic and noise. Beautiful pool, yummy breakfast, very secure and relaxing. We thought it was good value and a nice end to our trip.
Negative: Could use a sliding/barn door for the bathroom and some bedside tables.

Positive: Everything about our stay was absolutely outstanding! Our hosts were both amazing, friendly, and personable. The breakfasts each morning were delicious and just the right amount of food. Although we love ourselves a great pour over coffee, which was served in the traditional Costa Rican way, my husband found himself enjoying the delicious and rich hot chocolate instead. Our room was stunning, well appointed, and absolutely spotless! The bed was so comfortable, and we would rate their shower the best compared to all of the many other places we have stay at in CR. The grounds were immaculate, and the infinity pool, don't even get me started. We floated in there and watched the howler monkeys move from tree to tree, until they were literally surrounding us! They stayed for a day before moving on to another location. As soon as we left, my husband was already trying to figure out when we can visit here again!
Negative: We literally loved everything, there was nothing to dislike!
Summary: Tranquility, relaxation, and beauty... what's not to like!

Positive: The hosts are exceptionnaly kind, the lodges are beautiful, the garden and the pool complete this paradise, away from the tumultuous coast yet so close to the beach and all amenities ! The breakfast was delicious, and extra bonus we had howler monkeys as neighbours. Thank you Nathalie & Yannick for the homy and warm welcome into your little piece of heaven, we will definitely be back !

Positive: We had a great time at Baliyana Lodge! Everything was superb and wonderful!!! The lodges are very clean and has everything you need. You will truly rest in this place. Natalie and Yannick are the sweetest, kindest and most attentive hosts! If you have the opportunity to visit Costa Rica, do not miss this place! It is just amazing!!!
