Positive: Ban Mai Vintage really exceeded our expectations. The place was like a living museum with endless collections of practically everything you can imagine from various countries. The coffee shop and restaurant were both located right next to a river/stream, which provided an amazing ambience. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was very good and hotel guests get 10% off. Breakfast was also nice. Our room also had the view of the same river. The photos do no justice to how special the place was! Highly recommended!

Positive: This hotel is one of the most interesting I have ever been in it's full of thousands of collectables and nick nacks. A nice pool and attached cafe and restaurant. The room and balcony were top. The staff were great.

Negative: Breakfast was passable. And the location makes things awkward. Some may not like having to cross a rope bridge to get to the restaurant.

Positive: Really glad that I stumbled upon this property, it was such a unique experience. It was like entering a completely different world and the location also offered refuge to Thailand’s heatwave at the time. I hesitated at first about it being a “vintage” hotel since it might mean outdated fixtures, dust and clutter but to my surprise the hotel was fairly clean and well maintained. We had the place to ourselves since it was Sun-Mon stay so we thoroughly enjoyed the place. The breakfast options are limited but still filling.

Negative: The smell of fabric conditioner or perhaps cleaning agents used were too strong and a bit dizzying.

Summary: Good location, great amenities and overall satisfactory stay :)

Positive: This is the definition of a hidden gem. The pictures don't do the place any justice because it's gorgeous and full of treasures that are just too special to capture. Not only is the location and interior of the accommodation amazing, the staff is exceptionally kind, facilitating and helpful. Never in my life have I experienced this level of service that goes beyond the idea of good customer service.
