Positive: It exceeded my expectations. Lovely and comfortable stay. The resort had a wide setup, and is more like a little village with four pools, fitness, various housing areas and beautiful gardens allround. The first part is located near the beach and you cross a little street to get to the upper part where we stayed. As a result we had great views over the ocean and enjoyed nice sunsets. Room itself was spacious clean, great bed, quiet, very nice. Although it is in the hillside, this was not problem since they offer transport via golf carts, amazing and fun for our daughter. Pools were very nice, and the beach as well. Lovely restaurant, breakfast included offered great choice and a terrace overlooking the beach. The food in the evening was good as well. Just lovely sitting with your feet in the sand while kids play in the ocean. Great sunsets. Nearby a lot of shops and restaurants, dining in the beach. For this price we had a lovely stay. Highly recommended. Don't forget to do a snorkel tour.

Positive: Good location, amazing place for scuba diving and getting certified, very professional for that.
Negative: Got a wrong room that we didnt book and had a unplaesant conversation with a reception before they put us in a booked room.

Positive: Good location in Sairee beach area. Rooms are well appointed and ours had a view out to ocean. Breakfast buffet was excellent with so many choices.
Negative: It’s a bit of a walk (& steep) from the back part of the resort to the road and resort restaurant. Steep stairs to our room on top floor.
Summary: Good location, ocean & lush jungle views from our room, good pool at back of resort & fantastic buffet breakfast

Positive: The property was fantastic. Better even than we expected from the Booking.com profile. Great location - a little away from the business of the pier but still close to good restaurants and bars. Loved the choice of swimming pools. We also appreciated the resort’s focus on conservation and sustainability.

Positive: Loved everything about Bans, super accommodating and friendly staff who are always happy to help, so many facilities (pool, gym, restaurant with live music, laundry and bike rental), free shuttle to and from ferry port and around the site (the place is huge!) We booked our open water and advanced diving course with Bans and it was such a great experience! The best and one of the oldest established diving companies on the island- Knowledgeable instructors and great diving sites selections. We stayed across 2 rooms, the standard double and the jungle double, both were great but especially enjoyed the jungle double as it had a more private pool and secluded area (+ I got proposed to on Bans). We would highly recommend this place!
