Positive: Beautiful property with a great view of the river. Huge rooms with a balcony, good sized bathroom with good shower pressure. Mini fridge provided. There were about 5 cats at the property that kept us company most nights and were just beautiful. Free bike use was great and gave us chance to explore the area more and get to a great little restaurant about a km away. Host also messaged the day before to let us know about the shuttle from the train station which was a great help.
Negative: We had seen the reviews about the construction work but it hadn’t seemed too much of a bother. Unfortunately, for us, it was relentless. It would start at 0630 am and not finish until 5:30pm, one evening it went on until 10 at night. This really affected our stay at the property and while it’s no fault of the hosts, it has to factor into our review. The walk into town is very manageable but it does become tedious after a few days. Maybe once they have sorted the construction this will be better and the bridge will be re-instated. Other guests have mentioned breakfast but this was not on offer during our stay. WiFi was also a bit weak in our room, we were on the end, and we had to sit outside to get good reception.

Positive: We were incredibly happy at this little green oasis outside of the city. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. The host is amassing and we came back here for some extra nights!
Negative: Everything was great. Perhaps the only thing was the difficulty with how to close the curtains (it’s a whole system)

Positive: We really felt in love with this place and Luang Prabang and kept on extending - we ended up staying for ten days. Vivanh and here family are wonderful hosts and their hospitality is next level. They have some unique recommendations, are really helpfull and make this place feel like home! The place is located in a green and authentic area on the other the side of the river and has something magical, with the both the view on Luang Prabang city centre and the green surroundings of the river. The room is spacious, authenic and has everything you need (like a small fridge). There are some nice restaurants on a walking distance and you can easily rent a scooter or take a free bike to reach the city centre in 5 minutes. Thank you again for this perfect stay in Luang Prabang!! We’ll definitely come back!

Positive: The hotel staff is very kind. Location isn't bad either. It will be even better once the bridge is completed. it is not in the center of town, there is a private store within a 5-minute walk.
Negative: Since it was the rainy season, I had no choice but to take a boat or walk to the city center. Apparently you could cross the bridge during the dry season. The hotel staff sent me there on a motorbike. I think I could call a car, but it's a little scary to take a boat home at night.
