Positive: The whole experience was exceptional. We have booked many villas through Booking.com and this is one of the very best. The villa was exceptionally clean, immaculate in fact. The villa was equipped with everything that we needed. It even had heaters as our week was affected by a wild storm which led to most of the beaches being closed and there were high winds and cooler temperatures. It was easy to feel cosy and warm in the Banana Lovers villa. We were lucky that they were harvesting the bananas while we were there. Fascinating to watch. The villa had easy access and we were straight onto the main road to Funchal in 5 mins even though it was quiet and secluded on the banana farm. Very easy to find the entrance to the villa! Probably the best part of the entire experience was our hostess Ana. She was so kind and attended to every detail, and was on her phone to my questions day and night. Due to the storm, we were constantly asking which roads were safe and when you could venture into the higher passes. Ana could access all the social media websites and find answers to everything. She advised us where to shop, where to fill up the car, what are the best cuisine dishes to look out for depending on where we were going on the island. Basically she knows everything about Madeira and she adores her culture. This was a treat and we had the best holiday on Madeira thanks to this package of a beautiful villa and an exceptional hostess.

Negative: Nothing - well maybe the storm, but it was fascinating to watch the wild surf and huge breakers!

Positive: We had an awesome stay in this beautiful house. It is exactly as the pictures - spacious, clean, comfortable. It is situated inside a banana plantation. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The house has all the amenities for a peaceful stay. Towels, toiletries, kitchen essentials, strong WiFi, BBQ. The location is easy to reach via a car, and is walkable distance from the seaside and shops. Ana took great care of us. She welcomed us with a basket of goodies and lots of information about Madeira tourism. She was always available over the phone for any help we needed. Strongly recommended, I'll go back again anytime I get a chance.
