2 Bedroom Cabin in Moravian Falls

Banjo's Cabin is located in the foothills of Wilkes County, North Carolina. This two-bedroom abode is named after our dog who loves the freedom of the mountain woods and creek bottom that surround the area. He also enjoys playing with the many deer, rabbits and various wildlife that we hope you can enjoy too during your stay! The cabin is also conveniently located near historic downtown North Wilkesboro, Faithfest, Merlefest, Boone, and West Jefferson. As always, pets are welcome!
The place!!
The road leading up to the cabin is approximately 3/4 mile gravel road. There is only one house on the right side that will be passed. This road follows the creek and has a gate that will be open! There is a charcoal grill and fire pit out back. The inside space contains one master bedroom downstairs and an upstairs bedroom accessed by "dropped" stairs. There is a living room area that contains a couch which can accommodate another individual. A full kitchen and one full bathroom complete the space.
Access!!
This property is located on a secluded piece of land with a privately maintained road. We drive sedan cars and have never had issues. However, if it has recently rained or snowed, all wheel drive is recommended. Please let us know if you have any specific questions regarding the commute to the cabin.

Summary: We were in town to attend a wedding at Big R Orchards (15 minutes away from cabin). As the cabin was efficient for us and worked it was not a conducive for going back and forth to the venue and into town. If you are looking to stay off the grid and not be bothered by anyone then I highly recommend the cabin. It's quiet and the babbling stream is very calming. We had a lot of rain, so we didn't get to enjoy the firepit and porch sitting as we would have liked to have done.

Summary: I took my teen son here for a family vacation. We live in the city at a beach but really wanted the opposite for our vacation. The area is beautiful. The cabin was a bit secluded. It was nice to listen to the babbling creek sounds on the porch everyday. Our phones were able to text with no issues. Sometimes we had to move around the house close to the wifi to get the call out. The drive up to the cabin is on a somewhat long dirt/gravel road. The owners were very nice and accommidating. We drove around to many nearby towns and enjoyed it greatly. We went to Wilkesboro many times; it is a short ride. They had a museum and many things in town to see. There is the historic area and also an area that has shopping in wilkesboro. We found a Walmart and across the road was a grocery store called Lowes, where you can find items that would be in the higher end grocery stores. There was a little local grill in Moravian Falls. I believe it was called Moravian falls grill, great hamburgers.

Summary: This little cabin is cute and perfect for disconnecting. There is WIFI just incase you don't want to disconnect. It is back in the woods but close enough to go out and grab food. The creek is beautiful. It is two rooms and they are nice but if you have a disability or trouble climbing stairs you will not be able to use the second floor room. Boone is only a little over an hour away.

Summary: A fantastic property, exactly what we needed. The kids played in the creek, we loved exploring, finding new rocks, and just sitting on the porch with drinks. Great couple day break!

Summary: Well, upon arrival we pulled into the driveway, got out of the car and just stood in place while marveling at the outside scenery. Hills to the left, right and..everywhere! Beautiful! The sound of the creek and nature abound...wow. Took our belongings inside and immediately noticed how clean the cabin was. For those who are used to using cell phones...nope, won't happen. Our GPS lost connectivity with it's signal about 1.5 miles from the final destination. Our host was very helpful with guiding us to the cabin. Ther's a wireless connection in the cabin that works well, Back to the cabin. There's ample space for getting comfortable. The beds are comfy and it's a cozy environment. The area is chock full of restaurants and outside hiking venues. Very nice people everywhere we went. A nice friendly and relaxing area for you to enjoy. Love this place!

Summary: This is a very charming small cabin off the beaten trail, but not too far off. Very comfortable with a nice kitchen, great outdoor and indoor sitting areas, and a good vibe all around. The last few hundred yards of driving to get there might be challenging in very wet or snowy weather, but we had no trouble in our Prius. Definitely recommended!

Summary: Our family enjoyed spending the weekend relaxing at this cabin. We loved how secluded it was and listening to the sound of the water in the creek. Our dogs were happy to be able to hang out with us there as well.
