Summary: We can highly recommend La Grange. Celine is a wonderful host, great communication and really helpful. The place is well equipped, especially in the kitchen which has all the essentials and more. A few key points: * Big garden, perfect for kids with lots of garden games. * Outdoor decked seating/dining area. * Spacious lounge/dining area. * Good size bedrooms. * Nice mezzanine with pool table. * Hot tub and sauna room! * Within 5 mins drive of Grosbreuil which has a small supermarket. If you love France, want to be near the beautiful coastline but don't want to be surrounded by tourists in a busy town, then this is a great place to stay. It's 25 mins to Les Sable D'Olonne, the same to Plage Du Veillon (which we much prefer) and an easy drive to attractions like O'Gliss water park and Chateau des Aventuriers. We highly recommend La Grange.

Summary: This renovated barn was awesome!! We had 7 people staying there, and had more than enough space for everyone. The beds were comfortable. The sauna and hot tub were superb. We also enjoyed the pool table in the loft. The 2 full bathrooms were a must for us. The kitchen was stocked with every type of pots, pans, glasses, dishes, bowls, and utensils you would ever need. The owners met us at the house when we arrived. They took us on a tour of the house and showed us exactly how everything worked. It’s in a very quiet neighborhood. Being from Chicago, I could not believe how peaceful it was there. The stars at night are unbelievable. It was a 20 min drive to the ocean. If I ever get the chance to go to France again, this is where I would stay.
