Positive: Our stay at Barn Hills was wonderful. A simple, peaceful place surrounded by nature, perfect for relaxing. From here, you get an incredible view of the famous Nine Arches Bridge, a real treat to see it so close. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed to feel at ease. But the highlight was the lovely family who runs the place: warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. Even after we had checked out, they showed us kindness and support that we truly appreciated. A charming spot where you feel welcome from the very first moment.

Positive: Room was spacious and we had a nice balcony with sunbeds. Bed was comfortable. I was sick so they allowed me to change the dates free charge which was kind.
Negative: They had no electricity when we arrived so had a generator on they were using (not for us) which was very loud and smelt so bad of gas so we couldn’t go onto balcony. Room unfortunately was very loud next to the road. Toilet smelt so bad think there was an issue with the plumbing, but this was fine when the door was shut. Quite from Ella town centre Tuktuk cost 800rps down and 1000 up.

Positive: Amazing stay with views of the nine arch bridge. The property is very new and clean (there are two houses, the one on top has only existed for 2 months). The room had everything I needed (amazing shower, kettle, tea/coffee, mini fridge, hair dryer). The couple that owns the place is also extremely kind. She made our stay amazing. Made a lovely Sri Lankan breakfast for us with an amazing selection of tropical fruit and fresh juices.
Negative: Everything was amazing. Only thing that was a little annoying was the last part of the road to the accommodation. With a Tuktuk or scooter it is fine, but with a car it is quite hard to get to without driving very slowly and carefully

Positive: The location had a beautiful view and you could also sit outside. The nice arches bridge could be reached by only 5 minute walk, which was awesome. The host was very friendly and helpful. They also organized us a taxi back to Colombo and the breakfast was very good.
Negative: The house is not very well isolated, thus you could hear all the noises from outside also the bed could be a bit more comfortable.
Summary: Beautiful view.

Positive: We have stayed at this wonderful place and can highly recommend it. It is pleasant with always good and friendly staff. Their food is homemade, tastes great and is enchanting. We had the best view imaginable.

Positive: Everything was perfect! The accomodation was very clean. The view is very nice! The breakfast was very nice! And much 🤩 Very kind & friendly people. If you ask them, they bring you with the tuktuk to the city for a cheap price. Thank you for everything!

Positive: Amazing views across to the 9 Arches Bridge. Nihal and his family were lovely hosts, and Nihal was happy to drive us to Ella town in his tuk tuk when we needed. The included breakfast was delicious and included a fresh juice. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed.
Negative: The only thing that could have added to our stay was air conditioning, but we were still perfectly comfortable.

Positive: really lovely couple that owns the place, happy to take you into town on his tuktuk, only stayed one night but was a fantastic stay. The perfect view of the 9 arches railway bridge. a very tasty breakfast before we left, with a lot of food! my favourite spot once we left the south coast, would highly recommend!
