Positive: Restaurant/ bar area was great,staff were helpful,breakfast was good.
Negative: Rooms let it down,very dated and in need of a refurbishment, clean but dated,window area,paint peeling on sill area,window frame is a mess,unfortunate as other facilities were fine,room definitely needs refreshed,room was adequate for 2 nights we were there.

Positive: Dinner was very nice. Staff were lovely. Grounds were gorgeous.
Negative: Room was very hot so did not sleep well. No instruction on shower operation from member of staff on arrival or in room. (got these later and was offered the room for as long as I liked to take a shower, very out dated system that should be replaced by 2026 I was informed) Only two tea bags available and one biscuit for 2 people.

Positive: Impressive exterior.. good layout of restaurant/ bar
Negative: Squeaky floors especially when trying to go to sleep and people above moving around, plumbing in bathroom not great, difficult to adjust extremely hot water in shower and W/B. Window in bedroom needed attention exterior really bad. Lift extremely slow. Food expensive and not as good as expected ( Scampi sent back as considered to be undercooked and crème boule was cold)
Summary: Rather expensive all round but still had pleasant stay.
