Positive: Janeth really took the time to explain the neighborhood and have a little chat, she's such a great host. The shared livingroom and terrace were spacious and nice, and I usually had the space to myself. The room is big, with a desk to work. Whenever something was missing (like a kitchen knife), Janeth brought one to the kitchen immediately. The family lives on the first floor so you always have people to help you.

Negative: I'd say it's a great place if you're on a budget and you don't plan on spending much time there. I work online, and the rooms are quite dark, so it wasn't ideal for me to work there. The WiFi in the bedroom wasn't quite strong enough to do any meetings, but the WiFi from the livingroom reached my room and that one was stronger. When I was there by myself, it was great, but when there were people staying in the room under me, I could hear every single thing they did and said. I had to wait for them to go to sleep so I could get some sleep myself. It's kinda like a hostel with private rooms, I'd say. But again, if you're on a budget and you're traveling through, this is an awesome option!

Positive: The apartment was really amazing,it has everything you need for a stay in Barranco! Also a beautiful terrace with a lot of plants.And also the host/owner Janeth is really friendly & her husband helped us to carry our suitcases on the stairs

Positive: Staff is very kind and attentive, she waited for us to arrive at 2am with a smile. It was close enough to go by walk to Barranco, we liked the neighborhood.

Negative: The mattress wasn’t very confortable and the isolation of the room was poor, so we felt the humidity a lot. Given the price paid, was a good stay overall.

Summary: Lovely stay and top owner, would repeat but the room isn’t the best
