Beautiful and completely private property located in a very quiet neighborhood of Battle Ground. House is surrounded by greenery and endless lawn with stunning view on the green valley. Neighboring homes are far enough away that you forget you are still in town! It’s a perfect house for family gatherings or a quiet retreat in between your busy days of exploring the area. Located just a short drive to two main interstate highways and just 20 minutes away from Portland and all it has to offer!
This lovely two level spacious house sleeps up to 8 people comfortably. It has 4 bedrooms, an office and 3.5 bathrooms. Main level features a large family room with views to the backyard and fully stocked kitchen; laundry room with washer and dryer and a half bathroom right off the kitchen, cozy living room behind the French Doors and a formal dining area. To the right of the main entry is a hallway leading to bright and spacious master bedroom with King bed and en suite; second bedroom is across the hall with access to the hall full bathroom.
Second level provides 2 bedrooms, office and 1 full bathroom. First bedroom has a queen bed, office has perfect space to do some work with desk, office chair and couch, third bedroom is excellent for children with 2 twin beds with trundles. We also provide 3 single foldable floor beds.
The house comes with 2 TV’s ( 2 Apple TV’s with access to DirecTV Now, Netflix and other apps), high speed internet, books, board/card games and toys. Front yard has a very large circular driveway to accommodate family reunions or large groups with more vehicles. Woods are a cool area to hide from the heat during summer days or enjoy a camp feel while you roast some marshmallows over the fire pit in the evening hours!
Spacious manicured yard is an amazing place for gatherings, BBQ meals on the patio where you can just sit and enjoy the stunning view of the valley while your kids play on the play ground! We do our best to provide you with all the necessities and entertainment so the time you spend here is stress free and all you have to worry about it making great memories!!!

Summary: The house was really nice to stay in. So much space for everyone to spread out and enjoy our own space and also great places in the house to all be together! The plants and flowers outside the house were enjoyable and the fruit trees were an added bonus.

Summary: The property was exactly as represented. We were a group of 5 couples and there was plenty of room to all be together in one room or spread out. Communication was timely. Loved the bunnies hopping around the yard. We didn't stay nearly long enough!

Summary: We enjoyed the stay very much, and our small children loved the trampoline and play set. The property is in a wonderful neighborhood with peaceful surroundings and friendly neighbors. It is close to grocery stores, theme freeway and parks. The only negatives we had were the a/c unit seemed to not get below 78 degrees when it was above 95 outside, even though we kept the doors closed, the banister railing had wider spacing so my 1-year-old could fit through the railings, and there was some caution tape marking off part of the yard which seemed out of place. Otherwise, we loved the size of the house, the cleanliness of the place, and the features of the yard and neighborhood, namely the mini baseball field with backstop in the front yard. My family would definitely return if we came back to this area.

Summary: On the positive side: The home is quite spacious and quaint. The skylights dramatically light up the second floor. It has some charming features, such as the copse of trees in front, a piano, and the remains of a 60s era intercom and tape player installed in the walls. Beds are comfortable. A comfortable front porch. It’s on a side street in a quiet neighborhood. Nice view of Clark County scenery in the back. On the negative side: The home is in need of some serious TLC. It has a shoddy and worn out look; e.g, the grimy-looking siding, the missing left handle on the refrigerator. I was instructed to use the dishwasher before I left, but it appeared to be missing its control panel. If you want bars of soap, you’ll need to bring your own. I do not have children, but the dilapidated playground pictured in photo 12 did not look safe. There is a quite a bit of junk on the premises, such as a broken-down pick-up truck, a discarded grill, lawn mower, and a rather ominous abandoned swimming pool surrounded by a cheap chainlink fence. There are also a few structural peculiarities, such as the lack of a closet in the master bedroom (obviously not the current owner’s fault). But worst of all, the owner of the property was totally uncommunicative. I don’t expect the red carpet treatment, but at other Vrbo properties, the owners made it a point to visit when we first arrived. The Meadow Glade owner never sent so much as a welcome or goodbye email. Such unfriendliness would have been off-putting even in a much more attractive site. I fly from the Midwest to visit family in Clark County every summer. I will not stay at this property again, or any property which this owner offers.

Summary: The check in times were off by an hour which isn't huge except when a family is flying in from all over, the time matters because my parents had to kill time to get there and just wanted to get dinner started for the rest of us coming in later. VRBO says in email check in time at 3 pm, and then the manager said 4 pm. I understand the reason for check in later but getting that info a day prior to travel was a bit frustrating. My parents get there and to their surprise, the rooms as advertised on VRBO was not at all what it was. They put twin size "cots" in rooms, cubbies and grown adults with spouses had to sleep on them in separate areas until we decided that we should just move them ourselves. They were broke, we had to use books to keep them from folding back together. The couch in the office that was a pull out bed was broke and it cut a child. We had to fix a trundle bed ourselves so that it could be used. The AC did not work, the refrigerator had missing handle, the house was dirty. The beds stunk, no top sheet and the comforter was what we had to cover up with that smelled as if they had not been washed in years. Seating available for about 7 people even though it was advertised for accommodations of double that. Also, should advertise it is well water so that if people are shy to drink it, they can prepare to get plenty of water (the well water was fine for us). I feel sad that prior renters did not treat this house well but the owners should keep up with the listing on VRBO, be honest about what is there and fix items when they are broke. There was also issues with the sink. I messaged the owner as soon as I walked in that evening and she didn't reach back out all week. I feel this was false advertising, I feel like we should not have had to pay for sleeping on camp cots and I feel we are due a some of our money back for these reasons.
