Positive: It’s a lovely house with two spacious double bedrooms and a smaller single bedroom. We had all the facilities we needed - washing machine, dryer, dish washer, even a large fan, a good size tv with Freeview, a coffee pod machine - we didn’t want for anything. Very comfortable beds and a walk-in shower. Plenty of towels. My dog was welcome and the owner even left us some dog food and treats for her, and shortbread, tea, coffee and milk for us. An added bonus was a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge! I appreciated the welcome sign for us too!
Negative: The living room furniture wasn’t as comfortable as it could be - I’d have loved a cosy sofa to snuggle into. The living room layout is also a bit odd, it’s long and fairly narrow with the original front door (not used) leading straight into it. With a fireplace being the main focal point, everything is focused on that instead of the lovely view across the water. There were an awful lot of unnecessary knick-knacks which had to be put out the way.

Positive: Bay view was beautiful and homely with every thing thought of. The views are to die for in a peaceful location. Welcome touches greatly appreciated and our wonderful hostess Rhona.

Positive: Bay View, situated in Inverneill, close to Ardrishaig and Lochgilphead, on the road to Tarbert, enjoys a fabulous, almost unobstructed view of the beautiful Loch Fyne scenery. Despite some traffic noise from the A83, in front of the property, it remains a quiet location, to escape from the World. On arrival, we bumped into the owner, Rhona, lives next door. A very nice and friendly lady. We learned that the field of sheep, behind the property (who were great neighbours), had only lambed that week. So our 3 year old granddaughter, had the added enjoyment of seeing lots of newly born, baby lambs. The property itself has clearly, been recently renovated and beautifully themed, in its decoration. Huge windows, to the front, help take full advantage of the fabulous view. Lots of spare towels and bedding. Lots of electric heating, to keep you warm. A welcome note, fresh cut flowers and bottle of Prosecco were also a nice touch. A perfect home from home, with everything you could need. Beautiful place, beautiful location. Really perfect. Would highly recommend. A much better option than a hotel or caravan. Much. Enjoy!
