The bright and open living room enjoys high, vaulted ceilings, a flatscreen TV, and lots of comfortable furniture, perfect for entertaining guests with a ballgame or your favorite Netflix movies, or for playing board games with the kids. The full kitchen has everything you need to get creative with tonight's home-cooked meal. The round dining table is great for inspiring intimate and lively conversation between your dinner guests. Use the private washer and dryer to take care of your dirty clothes after an afternoon on a hot-weather trail. This home has two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and a flatscreen TV, the other with a queen bed, a mounted flatscreen TV, and an en-suite bathroom. When you're not touring the fantastic nearby water parks, take the family boat out onto the water for an afternoon of fishing then come back to store it in the private boat slip which is also a perfect spot to catch the Moody Gardens fireworks!
You are right by the Moody Gardens Golf Course and The Pelican Grille, which are open to the public. You also have the ability to drive your boat across the bay to eat at Number 13 steakhouse which has boat parking available for its guests! You can fuel your boat at Pelican Rest Marina. Take the kids four miles east to visit Schlitterbahn Waterpark Galveston where they can enjoy attractions like Bahnzai Pipeline, Cliffhanger, and Dragon Blaster. Check out some of the fantastic local restaurants like Cajun Greek, Mario's Ristorante, and Seahorse Grill anytime you need a break from the kitchen. Galveston Charter Guides is four miles away and ready to take you out to reel in your daily limit of red drum fish!

(A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) Summary: Nice, quiet location with large fully stocked kitchen. Nice size bathrooms and an outside shower downstairs. Plenty of seating for our family and extra large closet for Master where we stored all our stuff. Could have put a kid on a pallet in there since there was a window in there too. It was nice also to have front door and double back door. Plenty of parking for all of us. Older home but has been remodeled. Pull out couch in living room is fine for kids but would not recommend for adults. Thanks!

Summary: This home is in a great location close to everything Galveston, but since it's outside of town it's nice and quiet. Being on that water was exactly what we wanted this place doesn't disappoint. However this house was far from being clean they really need to get in there and clean everything. I was very disappointed. The house is in need of some basic repairs and a few updates wouldn't hurt.

Summary: the day after checking in I contacted VRBO about this house and stated the stove was not working properly, the handle on dishwasher was broken, coffee maker not working, one of the stair step boards fell off the day we checked in while walking up the stairs, the floors were not clean,the lock box was very difficult to open, I was told by Vacasa the boat lift would be available only to find it was locked and unable to use. This was the worst experience my family has ever had in a vacation rental. VRBO told me to call Vacasa no help.

Summary: The front burner on the stove was not working. There were several soft spots in the floors. Several of the bar stools were broken and one of the chairs at the dining table. The shower in the on-suite appeared to have mold and needed some additional cleaning. Several lights were not working. There were plenty of bath towels but not face towels. Need to provide a broom and mop for the premises. But overall, the stay was good. The view was beautiful! If these issues are resolved, we would love to stay there again. Thanks.
