Summary: Stay was just ok:…. I understand that they are doing renovations and updates which definately are great BUT a few issues falling through the cracks. My travel partner is a smoker and his key card wouldn’t work after the first couple trips out of the room. So of course he took mine until his last trip just before midnight. Then upon waking up he went for his smoke and coffee and when returning to the room key didn’t work. Thank goodness I was awake so when he knocked I could let him back in. Then he went down for more coffee and couldnt get back in the room after the front desk person reset his key….. Then after showering I started to get ready and realized there wasn’t a hair dryer in the room! Hard to believe since I travel ALOT and even some of the lower rated hotel chains even have this amenity! So my partner went to the front desk to get one and there wasn’t one to be had…. She apologetically said that there were no extras and she couldn’t go into another room to get one since the hotel was booked. Now the interesting part.:: he told her about his key still not working and so she came to room with him to see and even HER master key card didn’t work! Even though these issues are small… they don’t make for a great stay! Hopefully the he kinks are worked out quickly and renovations are completed.

Summary: The room was clean enough. Carpet looked new. Smelled clean. The bed was ok but the pillows were very small and hard. No trash basket anywhere in room. No place to hang towel by sink. No hair dryer. Just ok.

Summary: Parking lot was full at check in. Property is under upgrades and in a mid repair state in most common areas. Vending machines were empty except for way over priced items.

Summary: Comfortable, clean and quiet. Good hotel at a nice price . A wider selection of complimentary breakfast food (scrambled eggs, sausage etc) would get them another star.

Summary: Hotel was under a remodel. Lobby looked nice, elevator was a little scary. As soon as I got off the elevator I thought the remodel should have started with the carpet. It was so old, ugly and stained. The room itself had been redone and was nice. We were woken up both mornings to workers in the room above working on the flooring. It was worse the 2nd morning. It started at 8am and sounded like multiple people with hammers on the floor (our ceiling)

Summary: Stay was nice, employees were friendly. They are doing renovations, so the place with somewhat torn up, but still very easy to navigate through the hotel. Every time I come to Michigan I stay here. Looking forward to the next time I come so I can see the finished project
