Summary: Our stay was great. The beach was very nice. I do want to say that I did see a lot of people coming with coolers and bags with beach toys down the side of the hotel. They were using the private beach as there own and they were not staying there at the hotel. They were using the beach furniture and that made it had for the actual hotel guests to get a seat. I had a balcony on that side of the building and i would see them load back up and start hauling everything back to there cars.

Summary: Overall, this hotel was a good option for our family's annual Traverse City visit, but there were a few things that have us questioning if we'll be back. The location is great, the beach is great, the indoor pool is great, and the breakfast is decent. We weren't told there was a free shuttle to downtown TC/the Cherry Festival when we checked in at the hotel and discovered this several days into our trip, so we missed some opportunities to utilize this great feature. Our kids loved that there was a little arcade and are already begging to go back. However, the room was very dated with older carpeting and furniture. The kind of carpeting that just feels a little gross to walk on barefoot. (No obvious stains, it was not visibly dirty, just felt old enough to feel kinda gross). For the price I was expecting a nicer room. Second, the wifi was horrible. If you're looking to bang out some work on your visit, this is not the place for you. My Verizon service did not work well in the hotel and I kept getting kicked off the wifi, so I was not able to do much on my phone while in the hotel. Third, the toiletries were in the saddest little paper packs you had to tear open to use. They just felt like something you'd find at a cheap roadside motel. Again, this is not a big deal, but more a sign to me that this hotel needs to do some updates to justify their prices.

Summary: We went to Traverse City for the Cherry Festival Air show. We stayed at Bayshore Resort room 308. We were able to view the Air Show from our balcony.

Summary: Super kind and helpful staff! The resort location is in walking distance to downtown but we love that a shuttle was also offered!!

Summary: Would stay here again. Originally, they did not honor my request for a king size bed; however, when their error was pointed out, the staff member offered us an upgrade as there were no other king sized bedrooms available. We ended up in a lovely beachside room. The sunsets were amazing.

Summary: The resort was nice-very clean. Not super fancy but the price was great. I did not have a room with a view, which was fine. The private beach is nice. The front staff was very friendly every time I interacted with them. The location is perfect-five minutes from downtown. Would stay again

Summary: This hotel is right on the water. Get a room with view if you can. The hotel is comfortable and clean. The coffee options in the room's coffee machine are not great, but you can get good coffee from the lobby at any hour. Breakfast is decent, though more fruit and oatmeal would be great. Best part though is the staff, all were very nice and helpful. I arrived at midnight and although their shuttle service closes at 10, they were nice enough to pick me up. Would definitely stay again.
