Lush, tropical home!
Located in upscale South Point, overlooking Sugarloaf Sound and just 12 miles from Key West, this beautiful home offers you a totally tropical experience. From the Tommy Bahama inspired interior furnishings to the spectacular foliage that graces every view, this home is a visual delight. The open floor plan and soaring ceilings in every room give a wonderful feeling of spaciousness and luxury. The 12 ft. pocket sliding glass doors in the great room slides behind the walls to open nearly the whole wall to the lanai, creating a spacious, outdoor feeling throughout. The lanai is equipped with electric rolling shutters, which allows complete use of it even in inclement weather. It seats up to 10 for dining, and the kitchen can accommodate 9.
Comfort was the overriding theme when we furnished this house. With that in mind, we furnished it with 2 king sized beds. The 3rd. bedroom has a bunk bed with a full sized lower bunk as well as a daybed. Each bedroom is decorated in delightful island style. For the queen size sofa pull out in the great room, we have provided a foam mattress topper, which makes the bed as comfortable as most.
Outside, the 60 ft. grotto-style pool has a large sailfish fountain. We've provided a Mayan hammock to give you ultimate comfort for your afternoon nap in the filtered shade under the palm trees. Besides the large gas Bar-B-Q, there is a stainless fish cutting station and 12,000 lb. boat lift which can be customized to your boat's specifications. There are 2 Malibu Two person kayaks and a Tarpon 100 single kayak.
There is much to do within walking distance. Just 1/4 mile away is Sugarloaf Marina, which offers kayak rentals, ultralight flights, bait & tackle, and fishing charters. If you don't want to go down to Key West for fine dining, there are 3 fabulous restaurants very close by.

Summary: Tropical Paradise location Our family loved every minute of our stay at this island paradise. Clean and spacious home exceeded our expectations. The sun was shining everyday of our stay and that was not a problem, the lush tropical landscape gave us enough shade at the right times. Our family loved the backyard and spent most of our time there. The pool was amazing, just the right temperature especially with the warm July-Aug ocean waters a few steps away. We enjoyed many meals outside with the use of the grill. The dock was a great space to catch some fish and watch some sea creatures swim by. We watched a few sunrises and cast a fishing line or two. We set off on a few adventures on our boat rental from the dock and visited some sand bars and islands throughout the days and enjoyed returning to swim in the pool. At night the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful, the darkness is optimal for star gazing. The house has TVs with cable and internet but with so much to do in the area, we hardly spent time inside. A great place to unplug yet stay connected. The bathrooms are nice, one has a jacuzzi tub. Plenty of towels are provided both for the pool and bathrooms. The bedrooms are roomy. The beds are super comfortable, a true restful sleep with a beautiful sunrise. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare any meal. We ate at local restaurants, recommended by the host that never made us a bad meal. We wish we could’ve stayed longer. Summary: This is truly a beautiful property with the pool and bay. The only reason we couldn’t give it five stars is that the website is dated. Some of the outside cushions were very worn and the inside furniture and linens are “tired”. A couple of items didn’t work, such as the ice maker and the microwave. Great communication with Alan the property manager. There were some good surprises such as the bikes that weren’t mentioned in the website.

Summary: Wonderful house and property. Comfortable furniture, open plan. You can live on the full length porch/Lanai. Well stocked kitchen, beautiful pool, gorgeous plants surrounding property. Property manager and owner were very responsive. Great location close enough to Key West for dining.

Summary: we had a very nice vacation, spent a month in this beautiful house. the kitchen was great very clean, we had everything we needed and more ,two refrigerators, very appreciated with the family and friends. the laundry room downstairs with extra space to store fishing gears. and for me 82 years old and a knee problem the elevator was the big icing on the cake, we all used it and loved it. The pool is fantastic, the accommodations on the porches very comfortable and nice. The view on the front side of the house and on the back side of the house is beautiful. We would like to rented again for next year.

Summary: To call this a "Bayside Beauty" is quite an understatement! This vacation rental exceeded all of our expectations and is without question a place our family will visit again. This house had all of the amenities one could want and everything was very clean, convenient and elegantly arranged. The property was very private and well shaded and very close to the sound with an amazing view. The swimming pool was exceptionally well maintained and irresistibly comfortable. The overall location was perfect in its proximity to great fishing and many fabulous scenic destinations such as Key West & Bahia Honda all while preserving a comfortable seclusion from which relaxation was inescapable.

Summary: We had a very wonderful stay. The pool was beautifully designed, and perfect for lap swimming. The variety of palms and other flowering plants around the home was amazing. The interior of the home was perfect for two couples and children. The nicest part of the home was the long screened porch where we had all our meals and evening "Happy Hour." Also, the concrete high walls around the property gave us total privacy. A number of days we felt no need to go anywhere, with beautiful views, great pool, dock for fishing. Strongly recommend this place . A great value.

Summary: We arrived very late at night and so we didn't look around the property before turning in. When daylight broke, we awoke to paradise. The pictures of this property are not misleading, they portray the beauty that surrounded us every day of our vacation. The property is laid out very well; we were able to enjoy the pool and dock in privacy. While our devices had no trouble getting the wi-fi signal and there is a huge TV, we didn't need either because we couldn't get enough of our views. We've been recommending this property to anyone who will listen to us and we're planning on going back with our parents. There is plenty of room to have large/extended families stay there. The washer, dryer, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwaves were all updated appliances that worked well. We can't wait to go back.
