8 Bedroom House in Traverse City

Newly updated home with 9 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. This home is in a great location being only 150 yards from a really nice beach and only 7 miles from Traverse city. This home is two units next to each other one unit being a 5 bedroom 2 bath home and the other is a 3 bedroom and 1 bath with a loft sleeping area. They are only separated by about 30 ft so you can be next to your family and share a private back yard and fire pit. The back yard has a fire pit and a nice grass area for yard games.
Its only a 150 yard walk to the crystal clear water on West Bay and a really nice sandy beach. Boughy park has a large grass area and some playground equipment for the kids. The beach is sandy and there is about 100 yards of beach access on West bay. Its a great park and is mostly used by locals.
Wine or Beer Tasting has become a huge thing in Traverse City. We are located in the heart of that action with at least 10 wineries and breweries within 10 miles of the property.

Summary: Some college pals and I have been getting together for 30 plus years at least once a year. This property had enough bedrooms for us all and everything we needed. We all agreed we will be back to this same spot again. I’d recommend with zero concerns.

Summary: We had a great stay at this location. We had 19 adults stay between the two home and it was very convenient and comfortable. I would stay here again with a large group.

Summary: This rental was perfect for our occasion! With 8 bedrooms (3 in the back house + 5 in the front house), we had lots of room to spread out and have privacy. We rented this unit for our son's wedding and had plenty of room for the family. Our two grandkids had a blast running back and forth from the two houses! The location was absolutely perfect! 10 minutes or so from everything - the wedding venue, downtown TC, and Sutton's Bay! Some of our family even took a dip in the bay at the park across the street on October 1 (we had fabulous weather)! The house had a few areas that needed attention, but when I told Aaron, he said he would address them immediately. M-22 (S. West Bay Shore Dr.) is a busy road - so it was a little noisy, but it was perfect for our event!!

Summary: We had 15 women up for a wine weekend. The house was perfect for us. Plenty of rooms, beds & bathrooms for all of us. It was a bit further to the beach than we thought from the add, but not too bad. We were worried about parking, but there were plenty of spots, at least 8. We were close to Traverse City and even closer to Sutton's Bay, and only 5 minutes from our favorite, Mawby! The fruit flies were pretty bad, but that's to be expected near the woods & water. The back house was a bit musty, but we opened the windows and aired it out. It was beautifully decorated with an open kitchen/dining/living room area, a large bathroom, 2 bedrooms on the main floor with king beds, one on the upper floor with a king, and a loft area with a queen bed. The main house has a huge kitchen with a table, a separate dining room and a large living room area. Plus a main floor bathroom with a shower and 2 bedrooms with queen beds. Upstairs, a full bathroom and 3 large bedrooms; 2 with kings and one with a queen bed. You could easily fit multiple beds in the rooms upstairs (thinking air mattress, pack n play, whatever). Overall, it was a great experience, we would stay here again! Oh, and Aaron was super responsive whenever I had a question!

Summary: We enjoyed all the things to do in the area. There was enough room for us to all have our own space. A little difficult to get to the beach (park) across the busy highway with kids.

Summary: This property was great for our annual extended family reunion. Located between downtown TC and Suttons Bay, we were in good proximity to stores, water, and parks! Plenty of space for our crowd of 14 to sleep, good beds, and nooks and crannies to have alone time when needed. Owner was quickly responsive to our questions too. Only minor negative, they have a keurig to make single cups of coffee, but with the number of people we had, a regular coffeemaker in both kitchens would have been better and a microwave in the back house would have been helpful. Overall, it was terrific and we would definitely book here again!
