Short 1 mile walk to the closest beach (Weekapaug beach). *Our beach pass is for Wuskenau beach which is 2 miles away. Wuskenqau beach is located right next to Misquamicut state beach. Fully furnished New England style cottage. The living room has one full-size sofa, one love seat sofa, and one oversized chair. Large eat-in kitchen with large table seats 6 comfortably. Outdoor table seats 8 comfortably. Bedrooms: B 1 has a king bed, B 2 has a queen bed, B 3 has 2 twin beds and B 4 has 2 twin beds. A queen size inflatable mattress is provided; with the inflatable mattress, the cottage easily sleeps 10 people. 2 ductless split (Mitsubishi) air conditioning & heating systems provide comfortable temperature control on the basement and main level floors; in addition to the ductless splits systems, the house also has forced hot water oil heat and radiant heat in the basement level floors. The house has tile and hardwood floors throughout. Sheets, comforters, pillows, and plenty of towels are provided. There are 2 full-size bathrooms; one bathroom has an oversized tub and shower and the other a large stand-in shower. There are a washer and a dryer on the 1st floor. 50 inch HDTV flat screen smart TV with Verizon cable TV channels, Verizon FIOS 100 Mbps Internet, microwave, glass cooktop stove, full-size refrigerator. Keurig coffee maker, dining ware. Pots & pans provided. Outdoor fire pit (firewood not provided) Very large yard with outdoor table and table umbrella, great for outdoor BBQ (charcoal grill provided). *Quiet neighborhood.

There is a large playground & tennis courts for after-dinner hour fun just up the street at Rotary Park or drive to Watch Hill for ice cream and carousel rides for the kids or visit The Ocean House. This property is central to the beaches and shopping; It is a comfortable space for families with children. Foxwoods Resort Casino is 35 minutes away. Mohegan Sun casino is 50 minutes away. Enjoy dining at the many waterside restaurants in our area. No security deposit required. There is a Walmart superstore nearby. In the summer, there are many free outdoor concerts with free parking minutes away in beautiful Watch Hill or at the town beach. Our property has plenty of parking for up to 6 vehicles. Summary: The home was welcoming on the outside. Not so much on the inside. The furniture is very outdated, I didn’t allow my family to sit on the sofas since they were very gross looking. The unit says pet friendly and it sure is, so much dog hair in the house. If your allergic do not stay here. No one in my family is allergic to dogs but due to the dander we were all taking antihistamines 6 hours in to our stay.i wouldn’t stay there again for that reason.

Summary: We only stayed one night to attend a family party so were at the property very little. It fit the needs we had. We originally needed 10 people and a dog but no dog and 6 people were all that ended up staying last minute. There were (and still are) dishes in the dishwasher. No idea if they were clean or not. Floors weren't clean, my kids socks had dog and human hair on them minutes after getting there. Have to wash and dry any towels used before you go, which was odd and also an inconvenience since we couldn't use hand towels any more. Stairs to upstairs are VERY steep but fine for us. Overall fine, very expensive after fees especially for off summer season since its near the coast but we had little other choices in the area to accommodate what we originally planned . Hosts graciously let us check in early since no one was checking out that day and very responsive. Overall spacious house and property and 2 full bathrooms were nice. House and furniture a little dated or worn but comfortable.

Summary: This house in Westerly was a nice base camp for our family's first ever visit to New England. It is very close to the beaches, Watch Hill, Mystic, grocery store, and Walmart. Newport is a short drive. Our hosts were great at communicating with us and very accommodating to our needs. Although we didn't spend much time at the property, we enjoyed the amenities while we were there.

Summary: My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the cottage. We were so happy to bring our four legged buddy with us. We all had a marvelous time at a great rate. Charming neighborhood in great location. Hope to return!

Summary: As described. But discovered the cleaner’s laundry from the previous guests in the dryer upon arrival. All good otherwise. Ocean is about a mile, and is worth it. Thanks!

Summary: The house had a lot of cob webs throughout it. The upstairs shower had mold. The beds were mad with only 1 sheet instead of 2. The house needs some updating and a good cleaning. Otherwise it was a great location and the owner responded in a timely manner.
