Summary: We enjoyed our stay away from the hustle bustle. Loved the little beach on the lake, few min drive from the property .. property is well maintained and kept nicely. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Summary: A beautiful property and a perfect environment; this cottage is a worthwhile stay in the beautiful Highlands area. There’s a nearby quiet beach if you want to enjoy the nice weather. You can hear the nearby rapids, and it along with the beautiful mature trees and peacefulness of the area create the perfect relaxing ambiance. The owners left a collection of local attractions to anyone new to the area, and the cottage itself is beautiful and well-maintained. The perfect stay, 10/10.

Summary: We had a phenomenal time at Yvonne and Fred's cottage. Our hosts were responsive leading up to and during our stay. We had the pleasure of meeting Fred who is a kind soul and informed us on the local gems. The cottage is more beautiful than the pictures. It is clean, spacious and has all the amenities that you could ask for. The location is perfect having the beautiful beach 3 minute drive away. We got to have fun at the family friendly KPAO regetta where they hosted canoe races and tug-of-war competitions. I would recommend this cottage to my friends and family. Thank you Yvonne and Fred. Our stay did not disappoint!

Summary: We only had a short stay at the property as we passed through. The cottage was well equipped, with very comfortable beds. Beautiful mornings, and plenty to do if you are staying longer. Yvonne was an excellent host, easy communication, and very helpful.

Summary: We had a lovely time at the cottage. It was clean, well stocked and communication was fantastic. While there, there were many activities like hiking, going to the beach, campfires and visiting local towns. Check out Mad coffee in Barry's Bay (very good coffee!), and if you would like to go rafting at the Madawaska Kanu Centre (very close by) be sure to make a reservation about a week in advance, as they're very busy.

Summary: My boyfriend and I needed a little time away from the stress of work and life. We found this perfect cottage to escape to and enjoyed every day of our stay! It was extremely hot but there were plenty of fans and the beach was super close so that was our go to daily! The water was beautiful and we had tons of visits from the ducks. Our evenings were enjoyed with some horseshoes and other activities at the cottage and we did some adventuring in the area as well. All in all it was a perfect little getaway and the cottage is beautiful and very well equipped.
