You will enjoy unobstructed views and direct access to the Gulf of Mexico from this beach-front condo just over the dunes of Matagorda Beach near the mouth of the Colorado River and East Matagorda Bay!!! We are situated in a neighborhood of similar condos - but are the only beach-front building that doesn't have other buildings on either side. Enjoy the peacefulness of the large deck that overlooks the Gulf with privacy!
The unit has three bedrooms, and two bathrooms, and is a tastefully furnished beach-front condo that comfortably accommodates up to 6 people. Need more space? You can also rent the other side of our building (Unit #42) for up to 6 more spots! A spacious deck connects the units so you can enjoy looking at the stars and listening to the ocean together and then retire to your separate sides for a relaxing night's sleep!
The unit is fully stocked with bath towels, linens, dishes, flatware, and cookware. An electric range, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, coffee maker, satellite TV, VCR, DVD player, ceiling fans, central AC, and heat are also included.
Amenities of the neighborhood complex include a pleasant lagoon, a large pool, and the Gulf of Mexico just over the dunes!
Advanced reservations and a deposit are required. Please, no pets in the condo without special permission.

Summary: My husband and my son enjoyed a lot. They love to fish. Me and my daughter were looking for a place to enjoy the beach and get good tan. Two things were against that. Mosquitoes were very aggressive and any time of the day, A lot of jelly fish did not allow us to enjoy the beach. The house was perfect. The view from the house too. Property Host was super nice.

Summary: This property worked out great for my family. We love fishing and then had the pool to cool off in afterwards. The only downside is the mosquitos, when we say they are bad they are real bad, but you are surrounded by water! We put on lots of spray , they bit the palms of my hands!

Summary: I was disappointed that found dead bugs on kitchen floor, later got in the shower and there was hairs all over shower floor and no floor mats the next morning found that the deck was not safe for my six year old to play because the balusters were too far away from each other any little one can fall from there plus there were missing pieces which made it even worse. It says washer and dryer available I tried to open laundry room and was locked and sent amessage to personal and she replied there's coin machines right by the pool.

Summary: Out of all the Condos available to rent, this one by far is in the best location. End of the street on the corner with the beach trail directly behind the house, and close, easy access to the pond. Anne was fantastic and the house was adorable and spacious. The only bad thing was the swarms of mosquitoes that made it impossible to leave the house without being covered in clothes or bug spray. That being said a local let us know they are not usually that bad and they came after the recent storm. Would love to come back when the mosquitoes decide to vacate. Perfect rental!

Summary: Condo is perfect. Great ocean view. Very comfortable, roomy. The host is the best I've ever dealt with. She responded immediately to my questions. Girls trip with very mature ladies and all had a wonder experience. We hope to rent again

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay. Everything was as presented. For late October we didn’t expect all the mosquitoes and some of the vegetation on the way to the beach. Overall we had a great time.

Summary: Rented this unit for a long weekend of fishing in and around the Matagorda area. Has a great location for beach access (either walker or driving) as well as easy drive to local bait shops and boat launches. The unit was pretty much as described and made for a comfy home base for five fisherman. Outdoor shower was a great benefit after long days in the sun and sand. Check in/out was simple and easy -- just follow the directions as provided. I would definitely rent this unit again.

Summary: We always go to matagorda at least once every summer. This happened to be our family’s last minute decision on staying a few days before our my daughters start school. The house was nice and clean. Ac worked wonderfully. The only concern we had was there was quite a few boards on the deck and railing that were loose and having an 11 year old with her friend and a 4 year old running around it was the only bad thing we noticed about the property. You can walk to the beach from the house you just have to walk through the dunes which was a little further than we thought but not complaining about that. Overall we had a great time. Beach conditions were nice except all the tar.
