Sunkissed to perfection at this beach front vacation home offering plenty of space and convenience for your whole crew with unobstructed gulf front views! Large beach front common living space, dining area, and well-stocked kitchen with beach views and covered balcony that spans width of the home with plenty of seating. Along with six bedrooms featuring private baths, most with beach front balcony access. Sunkissed offers plenty of inviting space to gather together or peel off for privacy. To add to the relaxation and convenience there are two dishwashers, two wine-refrigerators, and an interior elevator that goes to all three floors to bring you, your luggage, and groceries up easily! This Sunset Beach, East End gem is just steps to the award winning #1 Beach by Dr. Beach St. George Island State Park. Boasting with magnificent unobstructed dunes and gulf views!
The Sunset Beach gated community offers a private swimming pool, newly resurfaced pickleball, tennis, and basketball court, clubhouse, grilling area (Sunkissed has a private charcoal grill, too), and boardwalk to the beach. The multi-use path that stretches the entire island are just steps away, and Sunkissed is close to island shops, St. George Lighthouse Museum and playground, night-life, and restaurants.
The exterior of Sunkissed offers plenty of concrete and under-house parking, outdoor shower (hot & cold), fish cleaning area to clean the daily catch, double park-style charcoal grill, and picnic table.
Just inside the foyer on the ground level is where you can load the elevator that goes all the way to the third floor! There are three bedrooms on the first floor with king size beds, private baths, and balcony access!
On the second floor you will find the well-spacious common living space with L-shaped sectional and two upholstered arm chairs where you can lounge reading a booking looking out over to the gulf or watch TV on the large flat screen. There is a built in wet-bar with one of the wine-refrigerators, glasses and other accouterments! The splendid well-stocked kitchen is conveniently located inviting you to prepare your daily catch while never losing sight of the gulf! Offering a granite bar with 6-stools and large dinning table with 6 hand-crafted chairs. With two dishwashers, side-by side refrigerator, and plenty of small appliances, drip coffee pot, and Keurig were confident Sunkissed will have it all! The third floor offers two more bedrooms with a king beds, ensuite baths, private balcony access, and living space in the beach front bedroom with sleeper-sofa.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The house is spectacular and with five families, we all had room to be together, or have time alone. The beach steps away was the highlight! My only suggestion is to add handrails on the steps on both sides. Also, it would be helpful to have grab bars in the showers.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my third visit in 7 years to Sunkissed but my first with this rental company. Positives: layout of home is exceptional, beds are so comfortable, HVAC awesome, water pressure great and the home is clean. This area of the beach is private and the views are out of this world. I’ve debated leaving this review but I’m hopeful the owner sees it and takes some action to restore this once magnificent home back to its glory. The rental staff was as accommodating as they could be but some things never should have been allowed. My gulf front bedroom, much to my surprise, at bedtime, had zero window coverings for the large sliding glass doors. And while the staff sent someone out the next day, cheap, sheer dollar store curtains were installed. And while they were somewhat functional, they weren’t what I would expect of a rental of this cost and caliber. Bathrooms are spacious but need some love. Tile soap dishes missing or cracked, several doors in the home would not lock, the upper level bedroom shower drain took forever to drain and needs work. The bayfront bedroom’s bed was literally off the rails. Shame on housekeeping for this one. It was obvious to anyone who got close to the bed. Were all of these things reported? No, they weren’t, they are glaringly obvious and I don’t feel I should have to be that person that provides an inventory of the status of the home. Lots of broken, older outdoor furniture and the sink under the house is missing a sink. I’m sad because I won’t likely return to this home even though it was once my favorite place on earth. For the price I just expect more. GCVR also please come up with a solution to the trash issue for Sunday arrivals. No one should have to wait until Tuesday to have the previous tenants extremely smelly trash hauled off. We couldn’t even take ours out for days because it was overflowing when we arrived.I would choose Sunset Beach again all day long but not Su

Summary: We were able to put everybody in their own rooms with private baths, which made it much better for everyone. Place was clean with lots of room. Great view of the beach. If I had any complaints at all it would be that some of the deck furniture was not safe to sit on and the railing around the middle floor deck was not as secure as it should be. Otherwise, coulsnt ask for better stay. was

Summary: We loved the beautiful home in the beginning. Just minor issues with door knobs falling off or left off and some shades would not work so a couple rooms the shades remained up all the time. We were evacuated due to a storm and drove to Destin til we were able to come back, once we got back in and settled, my fiancé and I were wed. The next day the homeowners made us leave and end our honeymoon because they needed the place due to the storm. They would not budge and allow us to stay a couple more days. Needless to say we spent most of our vacation moving back and forth between places to stay.
