Positive: Great little house with a pool and 4 bedrooms. There’s only one bathroom but there was an outdoor shower also. The location is great for the beach with restaurants and shops nearby. UberEats was also available in the area. We got taxis in to Lisbon which was really easy and about €20 each way. We pre-booked taxis to the airport which was also very smooth sailing.
Negative: There wasn’t anything wrong with the property. The only minor mishap was that we arrived at 10pm, which was communicated previously with the host, due to our flight times. When we arrived, the key wasn’t in the lock box as the cleaner had forgotten to place it. A quick message to the host meant the cleaner came round to let us in with the master key 10 minutes later. It definitely made it a bit nerve wracking to start as we were new to the area and didn’t know of any hotels nearby, but thankfully the host was prompt to respond and resolve the problem. So definitely let the host know your arrival time so they are awake to respond to any messages regarding entry to the property. The host did resolve it quickly and there was no issues from then on.
