Summary: The property is beautiful and had more room than the pictures show. The kitchen was well stocked and had anything you could ever need. We felt at home from the moment we walked in. We didn’t need to bring any of our beach stuff (we did) because the host has everything imaginable and more in the garage to use. The host was more than accommodating and let us know that the cleaner had finished early if we arrived early. The location to the pool and beach are just as described and the location is prime!! I can’t recommend this home enough!!!

Summary: This was our second stay at Emerald Shores Retreat and, just like the first stay, the property was in pristine condition upon arrival. We came for Friendsgiving as an alternative to the regular festivities. The off season is the perfect time to visit as there were few other families there so we pretty much had the beach and heated pool to ourselves. We visited Port St. Joe and Apalachicola for some great food and non-traditional Black Friday shopping in the local stores. The sunsets were gorgeous and the golf cart was a great benefit to travel to and from the beach. Already looking forward to our next trip this spring!
